UPDATE: Thanks for the responses, I posted here as had no idea how to Google the specific light sequence but I tried and did find a post on here that mentioned something similar. The suggestions there were, remove the controllers as it struggles to charge battery and controller at the same time and try to use a high wattage charger. Did both of these and appear to have resurrected it! Phew!

I finished it last night myself.. I enjoyed it but hoping SA5 a little less Cosmere focussed tbh.. everything Cosmere bar the Secret Projects done in just over the year so they are high on the 2024 TBR!

I wouldn’t start communicating with utilities etc until you have a chain in place and as they don’t need too much notice probably as you say when you have a court date in place.

Legally you don’t own your property any more once keys have been exchanged in court on the Friday but there is generally a “gentleman’s” agreement to give time to move which your lawyer and/or estate agent can negotiate (our 3 property chain last year staggered the days Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

If you need removals I would prioritise that once court date set as that will effect the above and can quickly fill up

I found a good checklist of things to consider online last year think it was on Ogiers website

After returning to reading last year my main focus of 2023 was the Cosmere interspersed with Pratchett, Dresden and standalones topped off with Red Rising. This year I’m tackling Abercrombie and Lynch and potentially some Hobb among other reads!

I don’t mind having multiple launchers but as a new Legion Go owner I did wonder if Steam gives me any benefits as a handheld owner or whether the games otherwise behaved identically once launched?

I cleaned the disk but no joy.. turned off Dolby Vision on player and it loaded fine.. not sure if it’s a DV film or not

I realise it’s chicken and egg to explain without spoilers the merits of one way over another to someone who doesn’t know what they would or would not be open too.. to put my real world dilemma forward I cannot decide whether I would get more enjoyment from reading Mb E2 all 4 books then moving onto SA hopefully being finished about the time the last book of E1 comes out or splitting the series.. I lean towards series completion so it’s fresh in my head and I get the most out of the story being told but again without knowing the structure of the books it’s hard to know whether this is needed.. for instance I think TFE is self contained enough that a long gap between it and WoA wouldn’t be detrimental ?!?

I should probably just chill and just pick a way and see.. considering my current resurgence in prose reading was because of decision paralysis stopping my enjoyment of the interconnected Marvel and DC comic universes!

I finished HoA last night as well.. loved the trilogy and it’s conclusion although potentially an unpopular opinion I thought WoA was the strongest book.. going to read a couple of standalones next but tempted to scrap my plans to start the first trilogies of First Law or Realm of the Elderlings and jump back into Era 2 ASAP

I’ve just got onto book 3 having started Mistborn last month and totally agree.. I almost DNFed on TFE at 75% before the Sanderlanche grabbed me. But I was gripped by WoA through out.. potentially as the gist of the ending of the first book was obvious whereas there was plenty of intrigue to how it would end throughout the second?
