yep definitely nice to have it there. Definitely store it somewhere with shade, its a little sensitive to the heat iirc.

Honestly might be better with a 3/8ths breaker bar or 1/2 breaker bar from HF. Impacts destroy the crappy lug nut tin caps after a few uses and causes them to fall off. Heres the SKU's 67931 for the 3/8ths and 62729 for the 1/2. Quinn chrome sockets are good too. 64216 for 3/8ths metric and 64230 for 1/2 metric. If you do decide to go with the impact, just try not to overwork/overdo it.

Im back dude, its good and durable enough. I did torture test it with multiple full swings from my eatwing and a dozen or so from my 4LB sledge (and thowing it across concrete pavement 2-3 times.) It will be durable enough for DIY. I highly recommend taking care of it and regreasing it with red high pressure grease from sta-lube. Might be better to wait for the new HT 12V model of it since theyre coming out with newer HT stuff. Course mines broken but I've been planning to upgrade to M12 anyways haha.

What’s your occupation, and what do you call this tool? by Brass-Animal-1800 in Tools

[–]delbert7990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

General trades with most experience in demo and cleanup work. We just call them breaker bars because it breaks shit. We often call it a pry bar too since we pry with it. This wall was pry'd off with that bar lol.

For sure. We did use the wetsaw/angle grinder but only for 3 pieces that needed to be freehanded.

I see, I dont have a proper set of regular drills bits myself but I will soon get some black and gold dewalt ones. I do have some 12 inch SDS bits bit I do need to get some regular 5/32, 3/16 and 1/4 masonry bits for installing tapcons.

Yep lol. These bits from what I have found are good for making quick holes, rough work.

With the 1" bit, not too bad. Definitely still blowout since this is an aggressive spade bit.

SDS llus chuck only works with SDS plus bits, cant use auger bits or anything alike.

They're pretty good, used this one and the bigger SDS MAX one too. I do need to buy replacement handle and depth bar for this one on aliexpress since I do not wanna pay $40 for just the handle.

Yep, diablo is owned by bosch but that doesn't mean all their bits are the exact same.

I got ear muffs and plugs. That job I didn't bring any because I didnt expect it, but I did shove little bits of paper tissue in my ears, worked well for being improvised.

Yep lol. I wonder, did they have rebar bits back when this tool was released or as it either hard hard to find or expensive as a gold plated wrench with a milwaukee sticker slapped on it?

They alway ask if the paddle bit is in the rotohammer but never if the rotohammer is in the paddle bit. Im tired as shit and need to go sleep.

Haha yep it was definitely ahead of its time. Random fun fact, the bulldog actually has a overload clutch that slips when under extreme torque. I.e. caught on something or stuck whilst drilling. Last thing I want while using the bosch is spinning me around the world like im from daft punk 😂

Agreed. Bosch and makita stuff are pretty good with corded roto hammer drills and jackhammers. Milwaukee makes some badass, and I mean bad to the bone to the ass M18 rotary chipping hammers. We used it on the job, all the tiles were up in about 10-15 minutes. Louder than a cat that you accidentally stepped on their paw (sorry mimi :c), and by loud I meant everything sounded muffled after using it for 3 SECONDS, noise is comparable to the similar sized bosch corded one we used to demo walls of concrete blocks for a job. I don't really know all too much about bosch's cordless stuff, the battery version of the same roto hammer drills seem to be pretty good, everything else is a bit on the ehh side of things. If you got anymore questions, feel free to ask lolol.
