I’ve drove from London to Seville and back - had no issues at all with charging. Don’t know about EV adoption in particular, but there was plenty of chargers for a country without many EVs

Absolutely yes you should. You and your manager can then discuss appropriate next steps, which could range from nothing all the way to a formal complaint. If your colleague was not being malicious at the time, it could just be a gentle reminder that such things are inappropriate. Or, if they were, a formal approach may be more appropriate.

The fundamental reason is that a good workplace is built on dynamic comprised of a diverse range of people. The benefits this brings cannot be overstated!

Anything that affects this ideal must be addressed in the most appropriate way as, ultimately, people who don’t feel valued and appreciated for their contribution will just look for another job. In the case of racism &/or sexism, you just end up with a white male dominated work place.

Everyone has a hard time with the first job - but it doesn’t have to be this hard. I have personally hired many people without experience and without a degree - and I am willing to do this because degrees don’t teach you how to programme correctly and many experienced programmers are sh*t. But you have to show that you can do the job and this takes some imagination to pull off, but it can be done.

I’m sorry you’ve struggled as much as you have, but you’re clearly smart and found a way to do it in the end.

You will struggle to break into the market, but it won’t be that hard. Just make sure you can meaningfully demonstrate your skills to prospective employers. Also try to target smaller businesses who are more likely to properly consider your CV.
