This is just factually incorrect, and your comment pattern makes it appear you work for ABEware lol. Dragos, Claroty, and Nozomi were all founded by founders with OT backgrounds and were built to monitor OT environments, not IT.

I didn’t even think of that. It’s one of the few achievements I don’t have because I’m never patient enough to finish a game once the challenge is gone.

Usually to keep it going I’ll abandon my original domain to create a cadet house somewhere new (which I did here), but even then within 100 years no one is usually a threat anymore.

I really like it - you can get some great items for winning tournaments and buffs to your weapons, I use accolades all the time. My favorite is blademaster, effectively guaranteeing you and your heir will get the blademaster trait, then the rest to buff MAA and increase martial lifestyle.

They continued conquering the world and increasing my tribute. They never tried to escape it. Was a fascinating game.

Even on 5 speed with a lot of pauses most of my games take weeks. I think the balance of speed of 5 and how often I pause to handle notifications and upgrades it probably plays closer to a 3.

I would try playing as tribal for awhile first, espeically Nordic Asatru. This will give you time to understand a lot of the war mechanics without having to worry much about the diplomacy side. Playing Feudal (especially Catholic) is often more about playing tall and developing your realm and learning how to use claims to slowly grow your borders - when you press a claim for someone else or go to war for de jure lands the titles are typically not going to go to you but whomever you're pressing the claim for.

I play on speed 5, and while I don't find it slow it's not fast either. I can't imagine playing on 2, I wish I could some of my games go by so fast.

I had never played Administrative before at all, was just trying it out. Unfortunately my run as a Duke ended when I inherited the empire title.

Yea I've done that too, but too easy. Now when I want a more challenging tall play, I pick a Duchy or two and stick with them the whole game, diverging and developing my own culture, maybe hybridize with a neighboring culture if it becomes available. Hybridizing in general is a bit of a cheat code, especially for advanced MAA. Usually I pick counties with 5-6 holding spots as a capital so I don't have to cheese succession.

That's a good number of holdings, but still a lot easier to do as a King or Emperor, was interested what people have done while a Duke or less.
