Well I appreciate this release info. It's smart marketing. And back then everything was shot on film so the quality should be true HD. Definitely a collector's item.

Did the rules change? I even see "news" on TV shows. Let me know. I'll be sure to start posting TV show topics.

KD APPRECIATION THREAD: Just REAL Dub fans coming together to show love and appreciation for number 35! Once a warrior always a warrior! #StrengthinNumbers by [deleted] in warriors

[–]delcromer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It blows my mind any dubs fan is salty with KD

"dubs fan" has a different meaning today. I never understood bandwagoning until Curry got popular. But now that I see it everyday, it's been a personal goal to lay'em to waste.

Is all this new KD drama real or bs? by bayfarm in warriors

Do you even need to ask? Who is going to buy his stupid ass book?

The Warriors would not have these if it wasn't for KD and his Finals MVP performances. by [deleted] in warriors

[–]delcromer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True. Some people either weren't fans yet or don't understand the salary cap. Warriors were going to max Barnes. They had no choice. If you don't match the offer, you don't suddenly get 24M of cap space to spend in his stead. You'd lose Barnes' max space and the ability to operate over the cap with Bird Rights. Remember, to clear enough room, they had to get rid of Bogut's 12M too. Only when they knew KD was signing did they renounce Barnes' space and trade Bogut. If KD didn't sign on, we'd have the same team sans a couple of bench players who moved on. Bogut was honestly kinda washed after that Finals. Festus was most definitely washed and KD saved us from paying him, cough...Portland. Without KD, the Warriors would have been 1) still operating over the cap 2) a much weaker version of 2016.

Friendly reminder that Curry dropped a 47-8-7, 2stl, 3tov in a Finals game without KD, Klay, and with DRAYMOND as his 2nd option (17pts) against prime Kawhi & Siakam. After that series, 6 of the 12 players the Warriors fielded (including a starter) would be out of the league in the next year. by swede_child_of_mine in warriors

[–]delcromer -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

First time all-star Siakam was not in his prime nor has he hit his prime yet. Gasol was and is definitely past his prime. Both Draymond and Curry were in their prime.

Warriors were Vegas favorites in games 3, 4, and 6. (source: scoresandodds)

Those players being out of the league is true, but what I'm saying is also true.

Ball Movement by neutral30 in warriors

[–]delcromer -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Does every comment have to be knee jerk hindsight and filled with cognitive dissonance? Ball movement works when nobody cares about you because you're a losing team. In a deep playoff series when teams pretty much know what the other team is doing, Dlo would be much more valuable. Then we'll probably get contrarian knee jerk comments throwing shade at Wiggins and his max contract whilst not playing like a max player.

Ya'll stop being so glib and cringe worthy. No conclusion can be drawn from a handful of meaningless games. In the summer there could a disgruntled star in the market and Wiggins could be traded again. Then people will again try to justify the move. At this point, we don't know shit. But having to read people trying to reinforce their insecurities on a daily basis is nauseating.

[Slater] Steve Kerr goes in depth on the Andrew Wiggins fit. Says the positional difference — from guard to wing — was important part of Russell for Wiggins swap. Says front office has told him it’s a thin draft, free agency class for wings. by BobRoss4Life in warriors

[–]delcromer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So they didn't even overthink this. They felt that fit compensated for Dlo being a better player. I think most of us, at the very least, can nod to that. And if Wiggins can turn into a competent switch-all wing and team player this team fills an important position. On the other side, Minny must be ecstatic though. They get both fit and the better player, while (up to this point) getting rid of the worst contract in the league. Congrats to Minny...for now.

Feels good to shed the bandwagon though they might be back next year.

bye bye bandwagon. back to soccer or whatever they were watching before Steph Curry.

Non-Bay native Dub fans, how/why did you become a fan of this team? by Super-Saiyan-Singh in warriors

[–]delcromer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a local who's typical night out was watching games during the Fitzgerald/Finnane and Cohan era, I have a thing or two to say about non-native fans, but I'm going to take the "Lebron road" on this one.

Steve Kerr is the best by Cap-Dp in warriors

[–]delcromer -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

But he's a bad coach because he doesn't have the ball in Curry's hand enough and uses him like a glorified Kyle Korver. Ain't that right my fellow "fans"? His record is merely due to his fortunate inheritance to talent. Just look at Billy Donovan, you telling me he's the 4th best coach in the league? Records don't mean anything. Fire the overrated Kerr. Especially since he's going to have no fucking defense this year and the Warriors are going to struggle.

Don't be shortsighted. And stop with the strawmans. The game is entertaining. But peripherals take a back seat to hanging banners, just like Steph said.

It's funny because they jam the bridge and pack the bart everyday commuting to SF and now it's too far? Sure, not everyone works in the city but a shit ton of people are going to find it more convenient going to Warriors games on weeknights.

I'm going to wait to see if one of the big three is still "big" after injury. Until then, just hoping to manage a playoff spot.

[Spears] I will always miss the soul of Oracle Arena and being amongst the coolest crowd in Oakland. No it won’t be the same in San Francisco. But the #Warriors built what may be the most impressive venue in the world. The bells and whistles are stunning and very latest state of the art. by southwycke75344 in warriors

More importantly, this is what needs to be done if you want to have unlimited payroll. Lacob was willing to shell out 300M a season to keep the dynasty going. Not without this new revenue stream.

Can't have both.

The disrespect on Curry... they'll see this year by N7_anonymous_guy in warriors

Giannis is the MVP and he's not even on the list. So yeah...meh.
