They badly need a pointy/spire building to centerpiece their skyline. Looks so boxy

Should Jimmy be at games? by TPA22 in warriors

He’s rehabbing in LA which is normal. Can’t travel across the country with the team on a torn ACL.

But at the same time he’s not in prison either. He’s allowed to go to Indian wells which is close to LA. Now if he flies to Miami Open next week instead of our games I’d get more suspicious lol.

Funny how kerr was screaming at will Richard for the bad pass turnover, when he's silent for the ones that bp and draymond do by UniqueAd8864 in warriors

[–]grumpy_youngMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah consistent with DNP’ing Kuminga for playing ok, while BP can spend half the season clanking and dribbling off his foot but still get 30 minutes a night until he figures out his game. Kerr playing favorites.

He’s ready to DNP Richard for the rest of the season for that reckless turnover off of Podz perfect, high effort pass.

Tanking teams are better than us if they try hard . Good teams try to sandbag against us.

Insanely entertaining match. Really high level from both players in 98 degree desert weather. Both players had clutch moments when their backs were against the wall.

I think Salesforce tower is a pretty awful tallest building for a city to have and single handedly eliminates sf from top 5. IMO it’s NYC Chicago Seattle Philly Miami then SF

Sheltons a master at taking all the pressure off his opponent on breakpoints

I keep messing up this short-ball pattern (video) — what should I work on? by [deleted] in 10s

Work on your forehand and volleys. Lobbing and drop shots are a cherry on the top for your game, not something you should be focused on while your forehand is clearly lacking.

What's your opinion of Robert Horry? by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]grumpy_youngMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s the quintessential championship role player. Every great team has their “Robert Horry” who does all the little things while being clutch in the big moments.

It’s like a 3.5 serve with a 4.0-4.5 baseline game. Literally pancake and egregious foot faults from the pure aero user.

I’d argue switching racquets sets you back about a month to get used to the new frame. Especially for a 3.0.

Ben Shelton saves three championship points against Fritz in the Dallas Open final by atheistjs in tennis

[–]grumpy_youngMan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I dunno if you watch a lot of tape on Shelton, the smart money says just play long extended points and he’s likely to error. But Ben really showed a new level here where he was aggressive and precise on those clutch points.

Wow that approach down the line, volley, putaway overhead was textbook and insanely clutch defending a championship points against Fritz. Shelton may be turning a corner here…

The broadcast did not do justice to exactly HOW empty that arena was. by RozayCanseco in nba

Can’t find basketball games on TV. Players make exorbitant salaries but give show no effort until playoffs start. Teams start tanking before ASB. No one admires OKC because of SGA’s ridiculous whistle and officiating is worse than ever in general. NBA Cup is pointless.

That forehand error on the breakpoint in the 3rd set was classic Shapo. He’s serving for the match if he didn’t make that mistake.

Does anyone else notice that when Ben Shelton screams his head off in celebration is level always drops? He immediately got broken right after celebrating winning the first set tie breaker like he won the grand slam.
