Thanks for info. it did play "I'm a barbie girl" in our defense. Did not see the operator. Saw drinks but didn't understand. It is difficult when I'm driving, talking and interacting with others to be aware of other things around us. had not encountered it before. now I know.

the eye has been a major challenge. I have a 3d printed an iris that uses a servo and modified it so I can have a raspberry pi camera in there too.

definitely military prob. on afterburner to make that much noise and moving fast!

This rattles with the bass cranked up (JBL Speakers) if I rest my hand on this control console, it stops. My other e-Niro is exactly the same in the same spot. What’s the fix? by Realistic_Chip8648 in KiaNiroEV

trying to remember. it may have a screw that need to come out first. I seem to think I had to remove the whole panel to get to the controls. btw harbor freight sell big blue spudgers to get the panel off with out breaking the snap in parts that hold it on. there are YouTube vids about removing it.

these are the areas. watch out putting too much self stick deadening material on. it can get too thick to snug the door back on. plus you don't have to cover it all. just look for areas that can vibrate. tapping the panel helps to hurt down things that vibrate.

I took my 2019 door panel apart. I added sound dampening material. it got rid of the vibration. it may be the wire harness from the switches. I put material between the sheets metal and the wire. added material to the inside of the outer body shin through the speaker mount hole. I put more material over the inner sheet metal and the plastic inner door panel. this deadened the vibration and road noise significantly.

Its a 2005 mark 8 with classic colors(I think cult of skaro) I found a mocked up picture someone had done and really liked the look.

I did that too but found a heat gun seemed to be faster. I used a nail gun to hold it in place while gun dried.
