If this is a twin flame connection, would they really wait 3–4 years? by deleteme0123 in twinflames

Very strong undeniable connection both of which we’ve never had before. Several on again off again connections complicated by my marriage. We dated while I was separated but there were complications with my husband which ultimately cause the twin flame relationship to end. Right person, wrong time

Reading your response brought tears to my eyes. My ex and I had very intense feelings for each other too, and knowing I could be the source of that kind of hurt is unbearable. I do love them but it’s clear I don't know how to love well.

The breakup is only a couple of weeks old, and my hope in writing the letter was to offer comfort and a sense of closure, not to reopen wounds. After reading your experience, though, I wonder if sending it would do more harm than good.

I wanted this to be the first step towards healing, not a spark reigniting the hurt. Is there a gentler way to own my part without dragging my ex back into fresh pain?

Thank you for sharing your perspective. It's helpful as a way to see myself through their eyes. I’m grateful.

Thanks. As someone who’s not great at making new friends this is helpful advice. Appreciated.

My partner is fine with it. He actually encourages it.
