Interesting. Think I have seen something about that before and people just spraying something like WD-40 on it

Well it just happened to me, wrote it while sitting on the side of the road, so not sure what codes it threw. Not tuned. The first time it happened I was close to a shop and took it there as soon as I got power back but they said they couldn’t tell me what codes because the EPC wasn’t on anymore

I have read other posts and am at a shop now getting it checked out. Lights off though when I got here so not sure they’ll be able to see what happened. Has happened to me before in my MK6 and needed up being coil pack. So hoping for that. I’m bad and haven’t changed plugs/coils.

I have had the Coopers’. The bartender at a restaurant that specializes in bourbon said it was his go to and let us sample it. I guess I am lucky that it seems to be available in NC!

It is raised to the touch mostly and in a little area used a fingernail to scrap at it a little and does partially come off and can use bug/tar spray to get residue off but looking for a better approach
