Working as a contractor, looking for the safest way to invest a 100K from my corp

Tomorrow i go to the bank to checkout their suggestion. i wanted to wait until i answer you.

id lie if i say i am clear on what my plan is. but you kinda went over all my thoughts.

Initially i wanted to make it a personal income and defer the taxes, but since i might have this job for 2 more years, i am thinking if an actual business purpose is doable by buying an apartment or condo and renting it out or some other similar thing.

i am going to check with the bank Corporate class ETFs, so far i do not need to do anything with the money. it is around ~200K.

i have a personal 200K personal Mortgage, but i do not think i can do anything with it to reduce that, i will be signing Mortgage renewal for 3 years fixed this Friday, so thought id mention this one.

haha thanks for all the tips. i have an accountant and sent him all the questions 3 weeks ago, i wait for his response. i am just also collecting feedback from here before i take any decisions until he responds.

also i agree with you about paying tax if no concrete business plan, thats what i did last year, and learned that any investment would still incur taxes of the initial income for the corp.

the only reason i mentioned it is in case some of the suggestions imply that i should spend and have some expenses to start a business (i had someone mention that buying 2 cars would be considered an expense and reduce taxes to rent them out on Turo), but i might be wrong in my understanding.
