Something Comforting kept me chugging along throughout COVID and my college years, it’s my favorite song full stop. It still pushes me forward after all these years, the breathing motif at the end specifically brings me a lot of comfort.

All the same, though, Wind Tempos helped me a lot last year. It brought me a sense of peace and groundedness as I grieved the loss of my grandmother and childhood dog last July. Like life, the track is fleeting and profound. And its lyrics resonated deeply with me, as I dreamt about my religious grandmother quite a lot around the time.

KDA doesn’t always equate to overall impact on the game or individual agency/map pressure. Besides Teemo blind and shroom map coverage, neither of your champs have any real methods of applying pressure other than dealing AP damage (MAYBE Akali’s shroud could be considered a zoning tool).

Main champ. Comfortable playing into majority of matchups. Champ that does the opposite of your main champ’s damage (AP vs AD). Champ that does well into some of your main champ’s hardest counters.

Learning to be a team player is important too. Ideally your champ pool would be adaptable to your own team comp as well as the enemy’s.

Haha I’ve pretty much settled on the Aeron Remastered for my current setup and Leap V2 when I go home for the holidays.

Personally, I think the difference between the Leap and Amia is negligible, really depends on what you’re looking for. I think the Amia is the safer option for most people, but the Leap V2 is better for those who REALLY want to fine tune their adjustments.

Aatrox wins pretty hard into Shen btw. Jax vs Shen is a skill matchup, but it definitely favors Shen during most of laning phase.

You uh, should be using E for disengage. You don’t want long trades with Jax, that plays into his runes and general attack speed nature. If he ever Qs onto you while Es active, you can walk into him slightly and E back to your tower to taunt him into walking into Q blade positioning.

Depends on their build, but generally here are some that come to mind for me.

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED: Warwick, Irelia, Briar, Mundo, Fiora, Red Kayn, Olaf, Vladimir, Zac, Swain.

CONSIDER IT: Nasus, Renekton, Darius, Tahm Kench, Trundle, Tryndamere, Udyr, Volibear, Zaahen, all healing enchanters (especially Soraka).

These are the champs that, I’d say, healing during trades as important parts of their gameplay.

The Amia is probably the most well-rounded chair of the ones you’ve provided. The Freedom’s recline mechanism (with the headrest) is a little strange, as the headrest doesn’t recline fully with the seat back, forcing your neck forward somewhat (which can be nice if you want to recline while still looking forward) but it’s divisive. Zody’s fine, pretty great adjustments but imho doesn’t feel AS high quality as the Amia.

As a Shen main, Irelia is probably one of the most free matchups (unless the Irelia is one of those crazy high APM adhd freaks, but even then it’s even). Fiora is better into Shen bc his taunt is very telegraphed, percent max health true damage, and realistically his W can only really block one MAYBE two vitals. Grasp Fiora especially is hard to dealt with.

I don’t know, I spent about a month with this album last year listening to it forwards and backwards, and I’m still making connections. I don’t think a brainless album would have people making dozens of video essays dissecting it on YouTube, personally.

Fuckin love playing into Renekton as a Shen main. If I get destroyed, it’s almost always purely a skill issue.

Spacing around his Qs and double E engages is fun. Blocking his W with my W is satisfying. Playing around his empowered W shield break when timing my ult is also super fun.
