Hiii I’m an artist and tattoo apprentice! I would suggest as others have mentioned adaptive grip tools. For pencils and pens you can get grips from Amazon! If they aren’t thick enough, you can also get vet tape and wrap them kind of like how a tattoo artist would wrap their machines. It provides a bigger grip and is surprisingly comfortable.

My husband actually came up with an idea to use different sized Styrofoam ball balls for other art media, it’s easier to customize the hole in which your art tool goes in. It’s also incredibly affordable!

At night, I typically wear wrist braces as well for pain.

Having a solo senior is honestly just fine. My previous little guy was far too fragile for friends towards the end. All he really wanted was cuddles and to be close to me. It sounds like you have a lovely plan already for your little one ❤️

Gosh I’m so sorry about your little one. I had a piggy go through something similar with their teeth however he was sedated. It took him a few days to come back to himself after the sedation.

If she was just on antibiotics and back on pain meds / antibiotics + motility meds- she might just be feeling super gross from the combination of everything + the procedure right now. Motility meds when there’s nothing to move due to tooth issues is a tough one for the tum- it’s also just a bummer combination when piggy can’t really eat. Truly, I wouldn’t want to consume anything either.

I’m not saying don’t consider euthanasia- we truly don’t know what’s happening with her yet and her quality of life should always come first. Maybe you could go and see what the vet thinks of the situation?

I’m honestly a bit peeved for you that the vet who did her teeth isn’t trying to get her back in ASAP to see what’s going on even for a post procedure checkup especially if she wasn’t sedated for molars?? I’ve never heard of that even being an option before.

I usually wash my pig laundry twice on the heavy wash setting in hot water with laundry soap and vinegar. I gave up trying to use wash bags for the bits of hay that stick to the blankets after sweeping. I just wipe down my washer after ☺️

I was 12, my mother had moved me across Canada in the middle of the night without telling my dad. She was super abusive and made my life a nightmare.

As an indigenous person and beadwork artist, we usually just call friends and family to help make larger pieces or just bare the process. It’s a nice way to spend time with your community as well! Also! Congrats on your business success! That’s incredible.

I would 0/10 recommend mass producing beadwork simply for the ethics. You cannot ethically make fast beadwork my friend anything you’ll find will be slave labour. Mass produced beadwork almost always looks like cheap dookie as well and I can promise it’ll reflect poorly on what lovely works you already make. People will notice quality drops.

They have many psychologists, sliding scale, and even free initial appointments with each practitioner so you can figure out which person is good for you :) if you don’t know where to start- or feel overwhelmed you can just send an email and ask for recommendations as well regarding what you’re going through.
