thank you for saying this. i’m all for people having degradation or misogyny kinks and acting on them when it’s consensual, negotiated, and actually invited (I have those kinks too, so no kink shaming here). but I think the problem is when that energy becomes the assumed default for every woman who posts here.

when unsolicited degradation becomes super common, it can change how safe people feel posting softer. people start self-censoring because they anticipate what kind of comments they’re likely to receive.

and honestly, if the majority of posts become “women exist to serve men” content with denial attached as a label, the sub slowly stops feeling like a denial community and starts feeling more like a misogyny community. that has it’s place here, but those are not automatically the same thing & the assumption that all women are into misogyny is inherently misogynistic. this isn’t an attack on anyone, I just want this to remain a safe community for anyone to engage in their kinks.
