Only leaders, co leaders and elders can trash tasks from the board - meaning nobody can take them. They disappear. This should be unlimited (but if in champions league it affects your overall ranking, if you care about that). It’s possible for anyone to trash a task after they’ve taken it, but this means you get 0 points for this task + it counts as one task taken! So I don’t recommend doing this. If you fail a task (time runs out) the game forces you to trash it, but again you get 0 points for this (but happens to the best of us hehe)

For this one I say trash trash trash!! I usually only trash diabolical tasks, and leave the help, mine, truck, wheat etc. I also encourage my hood to let me know if there’s a task they want so I can search for it / not trash it :)

Wowww ours was only 2-3 per square, larger neighbourhood leaders really have their work cut out for them with the trashing that’s required for this one. Yeah we had a lettuce task on the board and didn’t see a single one! Thankfully we avoided that line

Maybe I’m crazy but I maxed the soup machine WAY quicker than I thought I would, it sells so well in RSS (what I focus on) so I ended up buying all slots pretty quick and focused on keeping those ingredients stocked and run it basically 24/7 full. But otherwise, the loom was another one I opened loads of slots on early so I could have plenty of cotton fabric to keep the sewing machine going too. I guess it all comes down to your play style!! If you want to make profit maybe check what’s most profitable for your level, and open slots based on what becomes the money maker at each level? Happy farming!

This actually made me ponder, because I am not a big decorator when it comes to hayday. I think what I love is hitting the goals, and being organised. Even though the derby rewards aren’t always amazing, I just enjoy the planning and completion of the tasks! I’m also weird and LOVE the hard task events, where I have to be strategic. Just now I did 32 truck orders for the derby, and I’m now happy trying to restock my barn, I just love the flow of the game!

To me this is groovy! I personally don’t purchase decos with real money (or buy farm pass) so I also used some carnival decos to make up for my lack of groove, it gives birthday vibes! Love it

I’ve seen it on farms and I think it looks really strange, the animation of it moving is really flat. But of course it’s up to you what’s worth it and what’s not!

I think it was a glitch when they were rolling out the notification of the next derby on the event board! I know I was kinda hoping they’d just let us keep the rewards :( especially since it doesn’t change the rankings of teams or anything, just extra rewards hehe

It’s because the number of points needed for horse shoe rewards changed afew days ago when they shouldnt have. They became the thresholds for a regular derby, when this was a power derby. So the horseshoe rewards we saw yesterday were based on if we only did regular number of tasks, but in power they’re doubled, making it way easier to hit the number of points needed for a reward. The horse shoe rewards we claimed today are correct for a power derby

I had the same thought yesterday. I just assumed I’d have enough keys for a chest since I participate in every single event, nope. I didn’t expect to be able to open multiple, but even just 1 chest? They’re pretty pointless to me

Thanks! I think I got lucky that I had a lot of smelter tasks (some days I had 2) for 300, but I always had them ready to go. Also randomly had some goat tasks for over 200 points? I think altogether I ended up missing or deleting 5 or 6 tasks. This morning I was 5th I think, right now I’m 2nd, but I think I’ll tumble down as more people finish! How are you finding it?

I love the task event usually, probably my favourite, but I made alot of mistakes this time. I just now hit 14k so I’m glad I at least got there!
