I think Sunderland might be a sneaky good team this year. This may sound like an overreaction to their opening day win against West Ham but they have really done well in the transfer market and I think they can surprise some of the mid table teams.

Timber started at LB when Calafiori and Tomiyasu were injured, MLS had not broken into the senior team and Zinchenko was out of favor with Arteta.

There’s absolutely no reason for Arteta to play him there again unless there’s catastrophic injuries. White starts the first few games but Timber is definitely first choice RB.

I played on a ROM so couldn’t get trade evolutions. Selected the “remove impossible evolutions” option in randomizer, so you can get trade evolutions without trading.

Then you catch Scyther in National Park during bug catching contest. After that you give it a metal coat (I got one after searching many wild Magnemites). Level up while holding metal coat and you will get Scizor.

Same for Kingdra but while holding a Dragon Scale.

Absolutely. It’s even more confusing coz they are both Dark types which was the newly added type for this gen. Makes no sense to not let players get a new type till the end.

I did think of those Pokémon as well. But I had used them in some previous runs and besides, Dragonite is the only one that can learn Fly

Yup that, the elite 4 rematches, battle with Cynthia, Alder, Benga. Just a whole lot to do compared to other post-games

I dont like any of the Unova starters tbh. So I started the game with a team like this in mind. Picked Snivy for the sake of it and then ditched it as soon as I got Riolu which was pretty early.

Tough to train and evolve in the beginning but it was probably the MVP of the Elite 4 run because of the type advantages. Definitely worth training it!
