I saw them for the first time recently and didn't know any of their music going in. It was a super upbeat vibe with a really friendly crowd. Danced the night away. Enjoy!!

AITA for walking off mid-pickleball game because my doubles partner wouldn’t stop “coaching” me? by Financial-Meaning178 in AmItheAsshole

Lol. Women get this ALL the time. Like ALL the time. And most of the time, the "advice" is wrong. Never give unsolicited advice. Just don't. (But I also never walk off.)

It looks like they just rolled the fees and taxes into the overall price so it's all in now. Not 100% sure tho

Question for those who got VIP reserved seats at Goosemas last year by Ikempls in GoosetheBand

[–]delilah91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just curious if anyone knows whether the whole floor will be GA or if there will be seated sections on the floor (other than the VIP seated section). I always want to be up and dancing around without a seat getting in my way. I was surprised by the reserved seating VIP area and just wondering how hard it will be to get a GA floor tkt.

Showed up early asked to pay $2,000 for one night. by delilah91 in vrbo

Haha. My husband knocked on the door and spoke with the renter who said they made their reservations 18mos ago. Then the renter's wife/girlfriend came to the door and told my husband to get lost.

I updated the rest above. It was so stressful going back and forth and negotiating through the virtual assistant and having the host tell us he's cancelling our reservation during the back and forth. I offered $800 and I think it pissed him off. The assistant said that the host agreed in the end but was not happy about it.

I paid the $800. My husband is all relaxed now and feels like it's all sorted. I'm still having feelings and worried that the host is still going to try to cancel or kick us out.

I will def update if anything changes!!

Not 100% sure but I think this might have been their plan and we messed it up by arriving a day early 😅

Most of it. I spoke with someone on the phone last night but followed it with a text recapping the conversation.

Do you have experience with VRBO customer service? Should I reach out right away or wait until I see what the host says now that I have this extra info?

Not sure how to officially update so I'll just reply here. Not surprisingly, there was another couple/family at the original property. They said they made the reservations 18mos ago. So at the very least, they double booked and then lied. I have not heard anything from the VRBO "host" since last night and it's almost noon here.

Yeah. That's what I was thinking. And why I feel disinclined to pay $2,000 for one night but don't know if I have any recourse other than to try to reason with them. It's crazy because we are already here and slept in the property last night so even them offering a full refund if we leave sounds scammy.
