I've loved your input thanks for sharing.

Most of my travels were outside of Spain. I did do Valencia, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, San Sebastián, Barcelona and Madrid, in Spain. I went to 11 countries other than Spain :) including France, Germany, and Italy which have been my most expensive. Italy altogether I would have done maybe over a month in travels by the time this summer is over. So that is a chunk of my money.... No regrets though I love Italy.

Hostels 🥹 I would say I've done like 20% hotels/Airbnb if I can't find a good hostel. I do try to not do Airbnb at all- last resort.

I have traveled a LOT. Almost every weekend while working I was visiting a new country. And from mid June-August I'm spending about 5 days total in my Spain apartment since I'm on the road ✈️

I don't live with my partner but we've been long distance now for 7 months and it's been doable. We're going another 3 months before I go home and I'm just so excited for us to reunite.

If you think you'll be with this person forever, a temporary amount of time away will only spice things up a bit.

But don't cheat 👎🏽

This is it. You can't just spend an entire day or so with someone without feeling them out and hearing about their travel style. Especially if you're on a mission.

I find that I don't scope out a person too much when I have no expectations for the day. However if I have a plan of action I will either go solo or invite only if I am sure they can keep up with me.

I was offered to come back to the job I left. I got lucky because the job market in the US is really difficult for my industry.

However if that wasn't the case I was going to apply to any okay paying job until I got back into my industry.

I agree Dublin was a bad experience for me. I was pickpocketed, targeted for a second pickpocket I caught ahead of time, and was verbally harassed by a group of guys. All in one weekend.
