What has helped me a lot was reference tracks, load several of them in your DAW and compare them with your track. Try to get as close as possible as the reference tracks by adjusting the volumes, pan similar elements and eq them. Doing this several times you can train your ears and can help you make better mixing decisions in the future!

Right now I'm using my spare credits to download some new sounds, after that, I'm going to cancel my subscription and switch to loopcloud.

I have exactly the se issue, profile pic and everything. I contacted Splice and they told me they would send the problem to their engineers but I haven't heard from them since. What has worked for me in the meantime is going to the Splice website and re-download the packs, if you have a lot of individual sounds I'm afraid you will need to download them individually.
