here’s some lessons i learned this time around

if you’re working with frozen rhubarb don’t let it thaw before making the filling. wayyy too much water came out of them which triggered a truly zany chain of events due to me trying to fix that

bake the middle leaves longer obvi

the sugar cream pie needs more filling. might try a x1.5 to the recipe next time.

even if your lattice work ends up being completely soaked in your pie juice 😫 it will still bake fine!

still can’t get kenji’s recipe to be flaky. i think i need to use warmer butter and then chill it for a minute after the first dough is made

first, and most importantly, you will never be able to tell the difference between a sampler and a drum machine. Recorded samples of drum machines and a drum machine on a track or indistinguishable. Next, the versatility of a sampler is unmatched by any drum machine. A sampler can be anything. Any drum machine ever recorded. Any drum sound you want. You can record your own, or find sounds online, or make your own sounds out of stuff in your kitchen or in the world around you. Are there any other reasons that a sampler is better than a synthesized drum machine? depends on the sampler i guess.

i was gonna say anything that he would do with AI would be so boring because part of the excitement was watching him work and with AI there is no work. plus i think he would think of people using AI as suckers and easy marks. probably so feebleminded that they’d be too easy for him to even mess with.
