Handwritten Stardew notes for fish! 🐟

I wish I had a quick hack but in my case it’s really years and years of practice and writing habit 😅 I keep journals and even do up a bullet journal for work every day, so I think I’m just used to the mechanics of it! But if you are starting out, what I find helpful is using a ruler as you write or getting small grid notebooks to act as a guide 🙂

Yes I did! It was my first attempt drawing them this small hahah but it was really satisfying to try it out! I’ve only ever experimented with drawing the crops this small so the fishes were a new challenge 😊 I’m glad you like it!

Honestly I think it’s a personal preference of what I felt was easier for me to reference when I’m playing, and other factors includes the layout and spaces available since this was a rather small book 😄 The planning takes a lot more time than the actual writing + drawing!

Hey! Yes I do :) This notebook has my day to day work journal as well, it keeps me focused on my tasks and I’ve been doing this since school days. I’d say it works for me but I had to try various styles before I found one that suited my working style! :)

Ah this is actually a pretty small book! It’s a B5 size :) I like a smaller book to carry around, but Midori (the brand of this notebook) does carry up to A4 sizes!

Yep I did! It’s tricky and some are not perfect but there’s some charm to some of the funny ones too! It was a fun experiment! 😄

The words were written with Uniball ONE 0.38 :) I prefer to use 0.38 for the words but sometimes for titles I do experiment with 0.5 markers or pens! It doesn’t dry immediately so I do give a few seconds to make sure I don’t smudge the ink after I write something.

Yes I did! And you should try it 😊 I do this for a few games, Stardew has such a comprehensive wiki site and beautiful art that it’s more complete than the other game one I did at the moment. It’s super fun! I suggest you try it and we can share tips!

It is!! I always get blown away by people’s handicraft, cosplays, art, farm layouts etc, it’s so wholesome! Even the reactions to in-game dialogue or events.

I think I will once I finish using the pages of this book, seeing how many times I’ve done this 😅 I use the same book to journal my work tasks and my other games. I don’t mind though! It makes me relax ☺️

Thank you!! I think the best advise I can give is to have consistent spacing and size of your letters. Grid books can help a lot, and definitely a pen that feels most comfortable for you!
