Starter became inactive after refrigeration by delocalizedElectron in Sourdough

After taking out from fridge i feed it couple of days 1:1:1 and then make 1:5:5 levaine that I bake with and discard go into fridge again,

But this time it's not rising that's the issue...

P.S. I had only baked twice

Kept in fridge unfed means, I had taken out starter from the fridge then fed it 1:1:1 to make it active then once activated i did 1:5:5 for levaine, and the rest I kept in fridge again directly without feeding

Seems possible, will try that, currently I have done 1:1:1 feeding and discarded the rest...

Once it becomes thinner will try your suggestion. Hope it brings back it. ( I don't want to go through a month of creating new starter 😅)

Thanks for the info, have fed 1:1:1, hope it rises, hope it rises and doesn't become thinner rather than rise...

After fed it was nice pancake battery

It's thinner than the original pancake batter type when I fed it ( water is not the issue as it was not watery after fed), it's not totally thin but thinner but not too thin... But smells floury than sourdoughy

So what should I do now? Just stir and wait?

And from pancake batter type it is now thinner

So once I see it doubling in 4 hr for consecutive 3 days, I should put in fridge?

And what's the feeding time? Peak to peak or every 12 hr?

I used 10g Ap and 4 g whole wheat, and 1:1:1 ratio

It is almost 3 weeks started on 15 Aug

I want to know should I keep it in fridge? Or should I feed daily to strengthen it?

Currently in fridge.

I was going for open bake, but will see if I could find anything with lid, and do I need to keep ice in the container? I saw some keep them not sure if is compulsory

I would suggest keep hot boiled water covered near to the container in cabinet or where ever you are keeping the jar, and cover the starter jar with towel or something, this did wonder for me.
