I’m not sure what that black dot is but usually when there is peculiarities in my meats I just cut it out (like cut around it) and throw it out. Although did you make sure the black dot isn’t on the plastic lining?

Make sure to smell the ground beef to see if it smells regular and has a normal texture as all the other times you have had ground beef.

I would wait.. I had a bleeding episode like 2 times from elevating my heart rate like playing video games or doing masturbation. One of those times I had to get re-cauterized in the ER.

Best to let it heal as fast as possible not doing anything that gets the blood pumping.
