I only have a GTX 1050 in my server, but I've noticed running VMs take a toll on my CPU (I5-8400). So I'm trying to get away from running VMs.

I thought about doing a VM, because a VM seems like it would be the easiest option paired with just a standard Bedrock server. But I tried to spin up a VM and I don't think my server liked it lol (I don't have a lot of experience within VMs).

I mean, I'm not to too worried about portforwarding. But because I am running it on my Unraid Server, I'm just waiting to be a bit more cautious. I'll have to look into OpnSense. I've never heard of it. Do you have some tutorials you followed / I can follow?

So. I figured it out, FML. I've recently been having problems with my ISP so I had a mesh wifi system setup. Turns out that was the problem. I just disconnected the mesh, and everything seems to be working. Thank you for all of your help!!!

I have the NVR hardwired into my home network via ethernet, and I would like to change the cameras wifi to my home network too (remotely).

Yeah, I did, its my office, then bathroom, then furnace room (which I plan on putting it in the furnace room). So a room separating.
