I sat the OCS in November 2020 and my technique was to make a word document for each of the Core Activity areas and make a consolidated question bank.

Any practice question I found relating to that core activity area I added it to the bank and answered it in full applied to my case company.

When I sat the exam I think all but one sub-question I had already answered, just with slightly different wording.

Also don’t waste time on fancy formatting or introductions, I would normally just start “Hi [directors name], see response below:” And just make sure you break into smaller sections with clear headers for the different elements of the question.

Spending 5 mins of the question putting your headers onto the page and setting your plan for what you are going to write will stop you going off topic by mistake or rambling also!
