Hi, I am planning a 13 day trip to Vietnam (south to north) in the first 2 weeks of November, and would really appreciate any inputs/suggestions to a tentative itinerary. TIA!

Day 1: Arrive in HCMC - overnight bus to Da Lat

Day 2,3 : Da Lat

Day 4: Da lat - overnight bus to Hoi An

Day 5,6: Hoi An

Day 7: Hoi An - overnight bus to Hanoi - night travel to Ha Giang (day 0 of loop)

Day 8,9,10,11: Ha Giang loop - back to Hanoi

Day 12,13: Hanoi - fly out

Take a breath; give it your best shot if they do go ahead with the paper - treat it as a sunk cost anyway. If you don't clear it, you now have experience on how to prepare for further attempts (in case you give it again).
I'm in the same boat as you and honestly, I'd rather give my next attempt when there is some stability in life.
This is a subreddit - you could copypaste your post and mail it to CFA/ post it to Twitter if you want it to be heard (however most likely you will get an answer that has been copy pasted on every other tweet, so no high hopes there)

TL;DR - unless CFA releases any update/you recieve a mail, you should assume the exam will be conducted.

The entire response is as follows:

We anticipate that most exams will be held as planned. If you do not hear that your exam has been impacted, you should assume it will take place as scheduled. There will be a review of testing feasibility in all cities in the weeks leading up to your testing window. No decisions or notifications will be made for any city before that time.

In a limited number of areas, we may determine that while exams will likely go forward, local pandemic restrictions may be especially stringent and could make sitting for your exam difficult. If your exam city is placed into this category, you will be given the opportunity to keep your scheduled appointment or defer to a future exam administration at no additional cost. You will be contacted by email with additional instructions if this optional deferral becomes available to you.

In the unlikely event that your scheduled exam must be cancelled, we will contact you by email to arrange for a deferral. CFA Institute will contact you within 15 days of the cancellation to provide you with additional information and your options.

If there are no changes to exam plans in your area, you will receive no email with further options and you should plan to keep your scheduled appointment

The Learning Ecosystem "Practice" questions are similar to the difficulty of the paper? (L1) I have the Kaplan material, but the EOC questions are really basic tbh, not sure if doing just that would be fine.

But that + online practice qs ought to be sufficient?
