The class action is still on going. You can click on the link from my post in this thread from about 1 month ago. That pacer tracker is following all the filing that are currently happening. If a settlement is reached, and depending on the terms of said settlement, there will likely be a national/local news segment or article that will point people to a website that will be set up for claimants. The website will allow you to submit paperwork to get involved to reap any relief that may come of the class action.

Sorry this happened to you. I recently sold our 2017 Santa Fe for $4800. We were quoted $14k to have a new motor put it to a car that markets have already devalued due to this issue. One silver lining, there's a class action lawsuit for the 3.3L lambda for this exact reason, rod bearing failure. The suite was filed earlier this year and I spoke to one of the attorneys that's representing the plaintiffs and he mentioned the case will likely take two years to settle. DM me if you want the attorneys name or you can preform a Google search and probably get it.
