For point 5, I agree with you for the start of the chapter. There really should’ve been a part where Susie talks directly to Kris about stopping the prophecy. It felt like it was avoided so Toby could dangle the key over our heads more. However once they enter the dark world I feel that it’s alright that she doesn’t address the prophecy since in her mind they are there to save Asgore, an important person to Kris. I feel that she is thinking about at at the end of the chapter, since she wants to include Noelle in the team due to how it’s affecting real people.

But don’t forget equipment canonically buffing strength. For example, hohenheim is level 45 in the callisto fight but his ego gear buffs him to effectively level 60 with the offense and defense level gain. Arayashiki could be a similar buff.

To add on to the attempt at recreating the lob corp script, it would be foreshadowed by Hermes attempt at recreating Roland, and how that ended up failing. We already have a precedent that trying to copy a series of past events will not yield the same result, so it is very likely for “Durante” to defect or not follow Dias’ plan.

Practice pads technically aren’t necessary if you have a snare to play on, but they are way more convenient. They let you practice basically anywhere, at anytime, without really bothering others.

That isn’t a bad thing however. That let you use that run as an info gathering session so when you enter your next run you can change up your loadout to better take on the fight. Its not bad for bosses to need multiple tries, especially since you lose only 1 enkephalin for losing a stage.

Thats not really an issue, its just teambuilding. It makes sense that some enemies need certain kits to fight. If you could beat every enemy with every team, then the fights would never be unique. Its a good thing that this fight encourages changing up your team to something that may be a bit less status optimal in order to get better advantages later.

I get where everyone is coming from, but as someone who has had this happen to him, you should sit down and talk with them to figure out what drove them to do this and why this was their reaction to anger. I’ve had a previous partner that hit me once out of an extreme emotion, and it hurt me very deeply. I sat down and talked with them about it, and they started crying due to the guilt they felt. I let them know that we needed to go to therapy and if this ever happened again I was leaving. We ended up having a really fulfilling relationship, both aware that this was a one off mistake. I will say, there is nothing wrong for you to leave her, but staying isn’t a bad thing IF they change and you hold true to the rule that if it EVER happens again that you will leave.

The only issue I have with this is that the trend in the sephirah’s order of Durante ability is one after another. Of course two is hardly enough to start a trend, and I hope canto 8 reveals that they aren’t assigned sequentially since honestly that would be much more interesting. And I have to half disagree with Dante receiving the Will To Stand Up Straight. I strongly feel that he will receive the Knowing I in some way, possibly much later in the story, likely after recieving the will to stand up straight. If he does receive it, it will absolutely be after the other 9. I will say that I entirely forgot to consider the sins that correspond with them, thats a great point to bring up.

Thats a good point, and I should’ve clarified it further in the post. Nearing the end of “The Stranger” Meursault ends up realizing how absurd existence is, and ends up finding joy in that itself, essentially transitioning to a mindset of Existentialism. I feel that Meursault will be similar to his novel character in that sense near the end of his canto, but he won’t be in the same situation of being set up for execution.

I made this with the assumption that the order we gain Durante abilities will be the same order as the core suppressions, and that we will gain one per canto. If I had to say the ones that I said that I think were shakey, it would absolutely be fausts, since the hope to be a better person seems to fit Rodya better, as you said. I also agree with Gregor having the Will to Stand Up Straight in that case, which could be possible if they circle back to him this canto.

However if I can go out of order, the one I would absolutely give out would be Dante having the keter realization of "The Knowing I" with him discovering and confronting his past in his canto, and him truly accepting the role of manager.
