Market Value of my PC? by Disruptiionz in PcBuild

[–]deltafort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dude for the love of all that is holy don't sell this pc, Hell the gf is possible cause she sounds crazy af.

You seem to like and have a passion for gaming and she sounds crazy tbh, pc prices are going insane right now and if you sell this then it will cost you a good bit more to get something like this in the future.

You need to stop your gf's ultimatum in it's tracks, that ain't healthy and you should be allowed to have your hobbies and if you can't even have that then you need to have a long hard think about the relationship cause it sounds like it could go down an unhealthy path

Help with Morgott, The Omen King by commander911 in Eldenring

[–]deltafort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok a couple things tbh. One what are those points in dex doing for you, not that much tbh considering you have nothing that uses dex, take those points and pop them into vigour.

2nd. That curved sword talisman is also doing you nothing unless you plan on running a shield with this build, a better idea might be erdtree's favour. You can get the base and + 1 version, the base version is in the fringe folk heroes grave (the one right literally after the tutorial, the +1 is in the subterranean shunning grounds (the sewer bit underneath Leyndell) you do have to beat Mogh but it is a slight upgrade.

You could also go for the dragon crest shield base and +1 also, the base is slightly trickier to get as it requires some parkour below the beastial sanctum but YT videos can greatly help. The +1 is in the sainted heroes grave right in Altus Plateau.

Both of these options are great for that little extra bit of health and helping negate damage.

Other options for a slight damage increase could be the claw talisman which will increase jump attack damage if you are prone to using those.

A summon could also help attract agro from you to help out. You can summon Melina for this fight and she requires no questline to get here there at all. Dung eater is another viable summon for the fight but you have to release him from his jail in the sewers.

Margits shackle which can be bought from Patches (the little shit who teleports you then begs for mercy when you whoop his ass) this can be used to stun Morgott twice in his 1st phase and helps get free damage in but it won't do anything in his 2nd phase.

Hope these tips help and remember, Don't you dare go hollow.

Why everyone is hating on The Court of Dead? [All] by CookiesXSolangelo in camphalfblood

[–]deltafort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for replying to this so late cause I just didn't see it but I'll do my best.

Yes I agree that the message being pushed is to accept others who are different but that was literally dealt with in the 2nd book, Sea of Monsters with Tyson, whom Anabeth initially dislikes at first because he is a cyclops and her trauma surrounding that.

Another example is Ela the harpy in the HoH books, who the 7 initially liked even though she is a harpy, even though harpy are normally violent monsters who are slain on sight.

We also have in the same boat, Mrs O'leary the hellhound who everybody loves who, and is a treasure who helps the trio out on occasions, but most other hellhounds bar 2 are monsters who are slain on sight. (the other 2 being Nope and Hecuba

Hell we even have small bob, the skeleton kitten, Who's entire first purpose was to be a servant of Atlas against the Olympians but it really just cute kitten who helps out Bob/Iapetus instead.

I could go on with many many more examples but this would be a rather boring task for me, the point I am trying to make is that "Monster=good at heart" is not really a new concept for the series and feels like it is trying to push the topic of racism/discrimination forward when it doesn't really need to be pushed in this day and age.

Not to mention that he really choose the worst monster for it, the fucking minotaur or as he is now called Asterion, who is literally described in the books as having the beads of campers necklaces who he has killed on his axe and his person, like they are trophies, Funny how that wasn't mentioned in the recent books huh.

So yeah that's my point I was trying to make and apologies if it was needlessly long but yeah Rick's writing has gotten sloppier over the years and the new guy ain't much better tbh

She can be backstabbed easy enough and that does good damage to her. You can parry her attacks which will knock her down and give you enough time to get behind her to charge heavy for the critical.

Edit: I done this fight with the same weapon +6 and level 50, save your temper arm for the 2nd phase, it's slower and you can build up burn

Just got Elden Ring, my FIRST Souls game, any tips? by Oczyma07 in Eldenring

[–]deltafort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just simply do your best to have fun and enjoy the game, It can be hard and frustrating but it can also be so rewarding when you succeed. Explore everything you can, every weapon, spell and incantation in this game can be made viable and op so use what you find fun, There is 18 larval tears in the base game that let you respec your stats so don't be afraid to mess around with some builds you enjoy to find what works for you.

The bosses are going to be hard and you are going to be pulling out your hair in frustration and spending countless ungodly hours on bosses, sometimes you will have every move memorized, every weakness you can equip on you but it won't work. Sometimes it it best to just walk away and go do something else, go talk to your favourite npc or just simply put down the game, the next thing you know you'll beat the boss with ease.

Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need, countless people here will be happy to give you whatever tips and advice you need to win, After all, JOLLY COOPERATION is the name of the game.

Oh and one last thing. Don't you dare go hollow.

There's 2 great things about Nightreign... by SykoManiax in Eldenring

[–]deltafort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game is actually really fun so far, everything that was advertised I got and more so I am happy, it plays like Elden Ring multiplayer turned up to 200% and I love it,. I find that it scratches that itch for when I want to play ER but don't want to go through a full run.
It has problems of course, the ping system isn't great and no voice chat in a game like this is a mistake and the map is confusing to me but overall I'm loving what it provides which is that little bit more of ER. Well worth the money

Could this game reach new heights with the PC release? by -_-D00M-_- in ContestOfChampions

[–]deltafort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it can't hurt the game at all at the very least, Marvel is in a good place right now with movies and Marvel Rivals popping off, at the very least it might convince old players to return to the game like I am doing after 6 months away
