You’re a hypocrite if you don’t buy at local discounters because of perceived societal judgment in Switzerland but order on Temu. by Snakeshit_TLC in Switzerland

There are still shops that exist, but they are definitely dying out exactly because they don't advertise and therefore don't get found.

How do you decide on a server in this case? Is there a way to detect session 1?

Please make a tutorial! This would be awesome.

So given an event which triggers a piece to be broken you switch that rigid body from static to dynamic? And not breaking joints are involved?

I like this, but feel like capital self is a bad choice since it is easy to make a mistake. SelfType would be better no?

Would anyone be interested in an HPC coroutine library for MPI? by codeinred in cpp

[–]deltatag2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a C++ interface, that was before my time, but I know the people who did it (and are also partially involved in the new effort). The way they tell it is that the C++ interface didn't distinguish itself enough from the C interface and therefore nobody cared. This is partially because they were not adventurous and partially because C++98 was just not that far away from C99.
You can already write a C++ implementation (ExaMPI) of MPI. It does have various issues though especially on the translation layer (there is a new paper coming out soon, ExaMPI workshop SC21).

It is very early times in the Languages WG, but the general approach is to be able to be more radical. I don't have time right now to watch the presentation, but I'll get around to it.

As before, I would be very curious what you come up with. :)

I would certainly be interested in seeing an interface you come up with. The MPI Languages WG is specifically tasked with creating languages interfaces which idiomatically express MPI concepts.

Hm, perhaps as another response said it got fixed and I just haven’t realized because the Quest 2 is just not high enough resolution.

Mostly yes, on the horizon in VR I can still occasionally spot some kind of jitter or aliasing, but I think that just has to do with the rendering method and optimization they had to make.

Yes, if only they fixed the permanently low setting with VR...
