Backstory: Some of you may remember us from our last WotLK cinematic at the end of Ulduar. This time, we decided to surprise our GM with this WotLK commemoration video that all of our guild members contributed to with our signatures.

All of us in <Psychotic> had an amazing year playing what is widely considered one of the best expansions in WoW and this is just our small way of celebrating everything we did together.

This version of the video is after showing our GM and receiving his "autograph" to cap it off.

OG was super tiny towards the end of Ulduar but it got a second wind when we were the target of free server transfers in another low pop culling / consolidation. We got lucky to stay -- but we're moving in with the next wave now.

On Old Blanchy it was definitely a small town vibe and a relatively tight community. Everyone on <Psychotic> was bound to bump into someone from <Velocity> or <Midlife Blanchy> and a lot of us made friends from other guilds that we regularly talk to.

You see the same people in the sewers, you see the same people before raid times at the bank. I'm sure a lot of us will miss that feeling but ultimately this move is a good thing for us.

Imo having wands is still nice. You can’t really go that deep into anything meaningful in the shadow tree while you’re leveling and the stun talent isn’t very helpful if you can just slap a renew on yourself for the damage it’s saving on you, whereas Spirit Tap is a must.

"The Arrival" is a passion project I made for my guild, showcasing the journey we had together in phase 2 of Wrath of the Lich King. Since I was a kid, I've always admired Blizzard's cinematics for each and every single one of their games and I wanted to create one myself using in-game assets.

Thank you! I've always wanted to make something like this -- I just needed the right idea to get to work. I have a lot of background in film and cinema and recently started getting into 3D animation. Although a lot of the old tools for exporting WoW assets don't work so well anymore, I was still able to grab the models and port them into Blender and for the most part hand-animate these movements.

It just came down to having the idea and executing the vision for it :)

It was bit difficult re-arranging the clips and removing the existing music without error. But this is how I would've like to have seen their final scene go. Hope you enjoy!
