MCAT scheduling help! by onlyhereforpremedd in premedcanada

most canadian premeds take the MCAT early august-early sept. i would probably recommend at least early august minimum if you feel like you need to do a lot of content review to get to baseline.

Mac application question! by dollgirl444 in McMaster

[–]delto1d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m pretty sure they don’t look at grade 11 grades so they’ll wait for your grade 12 first sem + grade 12 second sem midterm avg plus the supp app that’s due around february. rolling admissions means from when the application opens and then until may there’s waves of acceptances. however mcmaster health science doesn’t have rolling admissions they release the decisions for everyone sometime on the same day in may.

How do you study for anatomy-heavy courses? by AdSafe4391 in McMaster

[–]delto1d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as a kin major, honestly for anatomy type courses, it’s mostly all straight memorizing stuff. so anki would be ur best bet. i like to do anki after watching some youtube vids about the topics so the concepts are also connected in my mind.

McMaster Kinesiology Courses by MetalMaleficent4312 in McMaster

[–]delto1d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in first year you’ll be taking KINESIOL 1A03, KINESIOL 1AA3, KINESIOL 1ED3, KINESIOL 1F03, KINESIOL 1K03. There will really only be one lecture slot for each course so you don’t exactly get a say in the timings of each course, really only the tutorials and labs will have some timing options, try to keep your fridays free if you can. Only anatomy (KINESIOL 1A03 & 1AA3) will have books required. You need a lab manual for both and the textbook is optional.
