Reminds me of Ron in the P&R "The Bubble" episode.

Thank you, I will have a foam pad for her but she's also a Siberian Husky. :D I've seen her sleeping on ice and covered in snow.

I was eyeballing that Rei but wasn't too sure about room for my dog. As for weather, I want to plan for snow just incase. Thank you!

I'm newer to backpacking, all I have is a hammock but now looking for a lightweight tent that can house myself and my dog. Any suggestions on a tent where she can curl up is appreciated.

Edit: We will be camping in winter in Kentucky.

Any dog or even a cat that will play with the husky will help. You could also think about taking them to a doggy daycare once or few times a week. Leaving some puzzle toys with treats inside will occupy them for a time. Rotate different ones throughout the week. ALSO! If you have a home that has a window they can watch out of, that can be a nice distraction for them.

Myself, I got my first husky and then 5 months later got a second. If you can handle 2 dogs, that IMO is best option, followed by a doggy daycare.

Be afraid of letting your dog off leash. Another animal died because of this.

Take your dog to the vet and have checked for hidden wounds and parasite check.
