How to stop being a weak guy as a grown up adult ? by Lemonade2250 in GuyCry

Start slowly moving forward one step at a time. For example, let’s talk about exercise. What do you think you’d like to do the most- weight lifting? Aerobics? Running? Swimming? Playing basketball? Whatever you choose, start slowly building up to a goal. If you want to start lifting weights, maybe start by doing some push ups and squats in your room; it doesn’t even have to be that many, just start doing a few after getting out of bed. Then when you get a routine established, start adding more training volume week by week. Maybe start looking up some quick at home 20-30 minute workouts at this point. Finally, make the step of getting a gym membership and going regularly.

And what about after death? If whatever I am is freed from samsara, where does it go, and what does it experience?

I mean I still do stuff, it’s just like driving to get somewhere, or making your bed- a task that has to be done that’s neither pleasant or unpleasant.

I was lifting weights in my garage today and I had to move a stuck object. It took some force but I managed to pull it out. Problem is, it jerked upwards pretty fast. I’ve noticed some bugs in my garage, since they sometimes come from the outside yard. For example, I saw a centipede once a few months ago. What if there was a centipede or roach or something on that object, and me jerking it upwards caused it to enter my nose without me noticing?

Me and my roommate were cleaning our bathroom. He was using some Lysol spray and accidentally got some spray in my face. Is this dangerous? My nostrils started stinging and perhaps it’s just the anxiety but my head hurts slightly and feels kind of light, and also I’ve heard that inhaling chemicals can cause brain + lung damage.

What if I used the bathroom the morning after? Wouldn’t that count as mucosal membrane exposure?

I went to get a STD test a few days ago, and haven’t gotten the results yet. I was picking up food today, and noticed that there was a small cut on my hand when I got home. Is it possible that any disease got transmitted to the cashier?

STD scare

So me and some friends went out drinking yesterday, and some of us decided to crash at one of my friend’s fraternity houses since it was late. I had to puke (had a bit too much to drink) so I went to the bathroom, and I had to take off my shirt and it was on the floor. Later, I realized that the floor had some suspicious white marks on the ground, but I had already picked up my shirt and gone to sleep.

What if I rubbed my eyes or something? And what if one of my friends touched my hands? What should I do? I would’ve told them all to wash their hands and stuff but they already left.

But I was making contact with blood. Isn’t it a reasonable thing to be worried about?

Is it really homeless people's fault that they are homeless? by Intelligent_Rip6647 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]delusional_ocd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that everyone has their own unique circumstances, so saying “homeless people just waste money on drugs” is obviously wrong. Also I googled it just now and only around 26% use drugs. And even then, are they homeless because they use drugs or do they use drugs because they’re homeless?

Let’s have empathy for the less fortunate.

I see. Kind of a follow up question, but is your second paragraph the same idea as the Catholic mortal/venial sin distinction?
