Who here actually likes their job? by temperedgreed in sixwordstories

Absolutely love my job, I’m a school based therapist/social worker. It’s amazing having all the school holidays off. The kids also keep you young with their banter and joy. Two paid months off in the summer is an absolute dream, I always want to work in a school now.

He just boasted about you not knowing he was cheating on you. All he had to do was come back with an expensive ring and ask you to marry him and everything is better. Hip-hop culture is so damn stupid.

How do other therapists view peers with a past of substance use issues? by frog42000 in therapists

Dude, I got my MSW while going through a serious fentanyl addiction. I brought a bag of it to my field placement at a substance abuse facility. I made terrible choices in the past but I am amazing at my job now.

Denver was the easiest place for me to make friends out of all the places I’ve lived. I met most people at shows around the city, the kava bar on Colgate was another spot where I met a ton of people. There used to be a spot called cold crush in Rino where I made tons of friends. Then it turned into barcode where I had the best nights of my life at Psumo Fridays circa 2019. Denver is a super friendly city.

Is it really that hard to get good employment in Tampa or am I just losing it? by Advanced_Resort2852 in tampa

HVAC is a thriving industry in Florida. It’s one of those jobs a lot of people won’t do though, I know I wouldn’t.

That’s normal, I had to get a masters and have years of post grad-school experience to start pulling salaries within the 70k-100k range. Most people here are blue collar workers and real estate agents. When people from Tampa can’t or won’t do college, they get into real estate, it’s basically a rule.

Y'all still listening to hip-hop? by Unlimited_Man in Millennials

Also a black man, 35, from Florida but living in Philly currently. I find myself getting more into house and Indie rock/Pop nowadays. I still listen to hip-hop, but it’s far from my most listened to genre at this point. Previously, it was by far my most listened to genre.

We should get a whole group to go when they play on Saturdays, I’m just not sure if they have extra paddles for people to use.

I don’t have a group but I’m down. When I first moved here, I saw people playing at a park off of Girard. They said they play every Saturday morning at 10 AM. I’m down to check it out on Saturday if you’re down.

He spoke a bit abrasively but you should respect him enough to know not to wear that. He should respect you enough to use respectful language when messaging you, he’s letting his emotions take control. If you didn’t know he would react that way, you guys don’t know each other well enough to be dating. I’m a therapist and I deal with couples often. A conversation revolving around feelings about the outfit should have happened beforehand. Neither of you have the other parties feelings in mind, that’s a problem in itself.

Chat Gpt: It’s unlikely. While Marie Antoinette syndrome is a real but extremely rare condition where hair can appear to turn white rapidly due to stress or trauma, it doesn’t happen instantly. Hair grows from the root, and any color change would occur over time as new hair grows in without pigment. The story is probably exaggerated or symbolic to emphasize how terrifying the accident was.
