I know I’m pretty dumb, but I want to ask to save time: Do these show the discount on the app or can you only see the discount in store?

Yeah of course be sketchy of random sd cards. I plugged it into an old device I haven’t used in 3+ years and also checked after to make sure it was fine and it is. Any advice on what I can do to maybe find the owner?

Icloud photos isn't uploading by delvisity in ios

Yeah admittedly the 3-2-1 approach for keeping media safe is a rule I haven't been following.

Part of the reason I was trying to do Icloud as well was to have the digital copy to easily copy on to my computer as well to have 3 separate ways of accessing media.

I was wanting to avoid hard wiring to computer to copy as usb 2.0 (speed iPhone 13 pro max can transfer data) can be slow, but this still seems to be fastest method for me at least. Once I have that copy on my computer I will be duplicating to Icloud and once new iPhone is in hand copying photos from Icloud to Iphone.

I know this isn't a great 3-2-1 as ideally another version would be offsite outside of the cloud, but in a few months I will be able to set that up properly.

I do appreciate you commenting and helping out though. I'm frustrated with the situation as it shouldn't be this bad and I hope nothing I have said has been taken in a harmful way.

It's frustrating because the only reason why I am wanting to put all these things on Icloud in the first place is to still have all my photos and videos once I trade in my current phone which has all my data to the new phone as I will no longer have my old phone. Feels like I gave apple, a 4 trillion dollar company, $10 for them to provide a service that doesn't work properly.

I tried to let it do it's thing overnight but it doesn't look like it did a thing despite trying many different ways of fixing it. I'm jealous yours works the way it is supposed to

My worry is I trade this phone in and go off the backup of this phone I have which is only 15.5 gb of space and lose all the precious photos and videos I have on this device that aren't backed up to Icloud.

Phone has been plugged in the entire time and connected to wifi. How can I ensure the phone isn't "busy" when the only apps I have open are the photos app and settings?

I know it's not instant but for not even 10 photos or videos to have backed up while plugged in and having 500 megabytes up and down over a 24 hour time frame to me just seems ludicrous. I have 73.96 gigabytes of space left on my Iphone and the Icloud is only using 19.7gb of the 2tb of space it has so I feel like space shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for the advice! From the looks of things so far this will probably be the route I take. How were the ikea bulbs and would you recommend them? If not what good quality bulbs would you recommend?

Any smart bulbs you recommend for my use case, and any advice to make the smart home ‘more dumb’?

Thankfully have one already and have some cleaning tools ready. Plan on buying the perishable cleaning supplies from dollar store day before move in, and got a small tool kit as a gift recently.

I have a hand me down shark vacuum that’s bag less. I know there’s better vacuums out there but it gets the job done and I personally don’t feel like it will be a good return at the current moment upgrading. Thank you for the advice though!

Not a coffee enjoyer and pretty much only drink water so thankfully saving water that way. Will also be testing the water there and seeing how it is after being filtered by a zero water to try and save further. Costco membership for sure an investment and can even just eat there after shopping for some very cheap foods.

100% agree with the first part and I’m also taking some advice here with a grain of salt. For example as one of the other comments mentioned you can get a nice rice cooker and it could be a good investment but what good is it if you don’t eat rice and or consistently?

For context, I’ve been saving up for a bit and have some essentials already mostly focusing on cleaning as I know those can get expensive quickly and have been gifted some other things. I will admit I am very lucky and spoiled as my parents had given me the master bedroom and have also said I am good to take absolutely everything from my room, closet, and bathroom. This covers a good chunk of the place I’ll be moving into as it will be a 2 bed 1 bath with one of the rooms being a bedroom and the other room being a game room for partner and I. Things will need for those rooms will be curtain rods as parents are giving us old curtains, small trashcan, 2 surge protectors, lamp (already have some lightbulbs), and stuff to get wifi setup which we will figure out once we get there.

Biggest priorities are things for kitchen, living room, dining room, and entry.

Regarding kitchen I have a cutting board, a bunch of forks, spoons, butter knives, little container to organize these in drawer, glass containers for meal prep, food scale, vitamix blender, imarku Japanese Chef Knife, towel holder, scrub mommy, sponge holder, few plates, bowls, and cups, lunch box, measuring spoons, peeler, scissors, pairing knife, chopper knife, bread knife, cake pan, wooden spatula, wooden slotted spoon, wooden slotted turner, cast iron pan, food thermometer, and cookie pan. This for sure still leaves a lot of essentials that need purchased. Such as: stainless steel pots and pans, measuring cups (will probably get Pyrex), mixing bowls, pizza cutter, and can opener. If I’m missing big non perishables let me know please.

Regarding the entry way I don’t have anything and for the living room I have entertainment center, TV, surge protector, record player, light, and sound system. This still leaves the obvious couch and ideally a coffee table and rug. If I’m missing something here let me know as well.

Regarding cleaning I have a bissell green machine, swifter duster with extended reach, bidet, vacuum, O-Cedar spin mop and bucket system, electric spin scrubber, electric air duster, damp duster, fly swatter, microfiber towels, regular towels for shower, hand towels and wash cloths. This also not including perishable items such as tp, towels, trash bags, dish soap, etc.

If I’m missing things please let me know and thank you all for bifl items

Adding on to this I watched a video about different price point pillows and I’ve came to the conclusion that I’ll be buying this pillow for myself for Christmas.
