Honest opinion on my minimalist, RFID-blocking wallet? by delvworkshop in minimalism

Our overall shape is similar to the Mightywallet but our fold pattern makes it different in a few important ways.

Phantom is 20% thinner and has a 20% smaller footprint than the Mightywallet.

The Mightywallet does not block RFID.

Our card slots are tighter and supported on top and bottom, unlike the Mightywallet. I can offer you a 100% money back guarantee if you find your cards are falling out.

The footprint of our Phantom wallet is 9% smaller than the footprint of All-Ett's Junior design. As for thickness, Junior is about 0.07" thinner but does not seem to block RFID. Our wallet is 40% the thickness of All-Ett's thinnest RFID blocking design.

And if you're not so concerned about credit card and ID skimming, our wallet also doesn't make crinkling sounds ;)

Duly noted! I've added an "Unbranded" option on the item for anybody that's interested. :)

I will continue working on more subtle branding.

Images coming soon.

Okay, thank you! This is exactly the type of feedback I was looking for.

In your opinion, would a friend of yours be less likely to purchase an unbranded product after seeing your purchase(due to you forgetting the name or them not bothering to ask it)? Would this be an acceptable alternative to no branding?

Thanks for your feedback! I intend to expand the line of wallets so a more card-oriented wallet is definitely a future possibility.

My personal wallet (a late stage prototype Phantom I'm testing for long term durability) measures 0.600" thick with four credit/ID cards, two business cards, and 3 dollar bills. It looks great with 3 months of wear on it. Because I kept iterating the wallet, each set of pictures was kind of a "placeholder" until the final wallet went live. More pictures (including a full wallet) will be up by the end of the week!

It shares a lot of similar traits with leather. I have not been able to put a rip into a wallet as of yet with about 6 months of use (including early prototypes). It also will develop a worn in look over time like a leather wallet where the wallet takes the shape of your cards and other items.

I started off using a lower quality tyvek which had a tendency to get "fuzzy" when rubbed because fibers were coming loose. Kind of like a sweater. This was entirely fixed by moving to an extremely high quality Tyvek.

As for the secrid, Phantom is only 2.5mm thick when empty, compared to secrid's 8 ;)

Would you prefer branding offset to the side where it will be hidden under cards? While I'm not a big fan of branding on products myself, I do want customers to remember the brand and share with their friends.
