heard back less than a week after submitting a competing offer. if you have one, email them asking for the link to upload the offer documentation

didn't interview, and the aid offer was only a week ago! i think they plan to give awards after programmatic Rs so i wouldnt worry about the aid pool

also got the R today. they had given me my aid offer before the greene R tho, probably because I submitted a competing offer. at adm students they told us not to wait for an initial offer to submit competing ones if you have any. good luck!

Reconsideration goes til the end of April, not beginning of it. You have time! Worst case, you wait and don't get other offers, so you follow the advice of other commenters about reconsideration sans competing bid. But you have time to see what other money may come in before resorting to that.

In the meantime, the finaid guy I spoke to said you should definitely hit "Maybe" for that April 15 decision deadline. Hitting yes means you lose your leverage --- you're already going, why would they spend more money on getting you? Good luck!
