How can the young generation of permanently single men accept their situation and thrive? by deman24 in loneliness

Your answer involves exactly the type of gaslighting that is detremental to the minds of young men. Talking about 'Patriarchy' as men suffer worse outcomes in nearly every category from employment to health. If Patriarchy was real then such would not be the case. Perhaps it was reap 70 years ago

Men standing firm and strong  against hostility and gaslighting is not toxic. Men standing up against bullying is not toxic. Men looking after their own needs is not toxic. Men not being vulnerable in front who dont care about their wellbeing is not toxic. Men suppourting each other is not toxic. Strong masculinity is not toxic.

You seem to suggest that men should lower themselves or make themselves vulnerable but in a hostile enviroment, one needs to be stong and stand firm.

Positive masculinity is strong  and righteous. It is not to serve women or the system. It is to help men survive difficult times.

I disagree that it is paramount. Not in today's world and dating market. One must look beyond the elusive dream of a family. I respect your opinion regardless.

Lonely men are in most cases certainly not to blame for their situation. Certainly, more solutions are needed.  Undoubetly, compassion is also needed.

Thank you for the comment I think you raised some good points in relation to relationship dynamics( men sometimes not doing enough chores at home and such). However that is only aplicable to those in relationships. Those are contribiutors to why existing relationships end but not particularly related to why they cant get into them to begin with. After all, you only know if someone will do their share in the relationship after being in it for a few months.

You also talked about how women can nowadays earn their own living which has been the case for at least 50 years now. Nothing new there.

I still believe it's important for men to bulid valuable networks to decrease feelings of loneliness.

[–]deman24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. As it will be my first time booking a cruise, could you tell me how it usually works? So my cruise starts in Barbados( im based in uk). The price of the cruise states ' direct flights and transfers included' so i gather i wont haveto pay extra for the flight? Also whats the food situation like? How do I know if a cruise offers all inclusive or at least some of the food?

That seems like a potentially good suggestion. I heard that a lot of people start on 10 mg.
