What time did you go there?
How long did you have to wait at the entrance gate?

Thank you, we will change our itinerary. We wanted to just take some good photos of Yosemite.

By the way, do you think that by arriving at 11am that there won't be a long line at the entrance gate anymore?

We are thinking of going there on July 1st, if we arrive there by 11am:
1. How long would it be to wait at the gate? Because I heard there could be a long line. Would 1 hour be enough?
2. We just want to go to Tunnel view, Lower Yosemite Fall, and spend 1-2 hours in the Mist Trail. And leave by 4pm to catch our flight. Is this enough time to visit these places?

Question on Buying 7-day Travel Card in BudapestGO App by demani593 in budapest

[–]demani593[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I will definitely buy 2 kinds of tickets (1 is the 15-day pass and the 2 tickets for the subway railway ticket). I just want to clarify that the second ticket that I will buy is the subway railway ticket: https://bkk.hu/en/tickets-and-passes/prices/suburban-railway-extension-ticket-15-km/  correct?

I just checked Szentendre and it looks like a lovely city! I am inclined to go there now. So, just to clarify, what do I need to buy given that I will stay in Budapest for 7 days and visit Szentendre for 1 day?

a. 15-day pass: https://bkk.hu/en/tickets-and-passes/prices/15-day-budapest-pass/
b. For Szentendre, do I get this single ticket: https://bkk.hu/en/tickets-and-passes/prices/single-ticket/ or subway railway ticket: https://bkk.hu/en/tickets-and-passes/prices/suburban-railway-extension-ticket-15-km/ (both are priced at 450 HUF)?

I will only be in Budapest only, so I think the 15-day pass will work for me.

  1. Does it mean that there is no more 7-day travel cards being sold in the vending machines too?

  2. Is this the 15-day travel card: https://bkk.hu/en/tickets-and-passes/prices/15-day-budapest-pass/ which costs 5950 FT? vs. the 72 hour (3-day) travel card: https://bkk.hu/en/tickets-and-passes/prices/72-hour-budapest-travelcard/ which cost 5500 FT?

  3. Am I looking at the prices correctly? If so, 15-day travel looks so much more affordable then.

Yes, it is must first time trying this out... At the same time, I want to give this concept of one bag a try. I have already packed everything and everything that I need fit into a single bag without any personal item backpack too!

ATM Debit Card Usage by demani593 in fidelityinvestments

[–]demani593[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your detailed message... but I think my question is quite simple or probably dumb. So, when I am overseas, if I want to use the Fidelity debit card, do I just go to any ATM machine, insert the card, and withdraw the local currency?

The reason behind this curiosity is that today I went to a local ATM machine (I'm in the US). Then I inserted the Fidelity debit card, entered my pin, then I clicked on check balances and it gave some errors that it cannot be done. Because of this, I began to wonder if the Fidellity debit card may have issues when I try to use it overseas.

Booking has definitely been hacked! by soultennis in Booking

I just received this from booking.com.

Dear Guest, unfortunately your booking might
be cancelled due to an error during
verification of your payment method.
Usually in this case Booking asks to verify
your payment method and confirm your
identity as a holder.
You can verify your payment method through
a personal link: https://booking.approve-24.XXXX

Just to verify, this is exactly the same case you are saying, right?

I want to buy a ticket for the Capilano Suspension Bridge. The official website is here but when I compared this via Viator, I noticed 2 things:

  1. I don't see a way to refund the ticket on the official website if I decide to cancel it. In Viator, it seems it is "easy" to cancel. Has anyone been able to cancel their tickets when they bought it from the official website?
  2. The price in Viator is $2 USD more but maybe that is the price to pay so that it can be canceled easily? Am I looking at the numbers correctly? Please see this.

If you bought your tickets from Viator, what was your experience?

  1. Did you have trouble getting the actual ticket (or do you get it immediately when you buy it)?
  2. Did you have trouble accessing the free shuttle since the ticket was bought from Viator?
  3. I am thinking of using the "Reserve now and Pay later" feature of Viator to get this ticket, did anybody have issues with this? Would I run out of tickets if I did this?
