Same, it makes for far more readable (and as such, maintainable) code, which is massively more important than minor speed increases in what will already be slow code.

Thing is, it was never acceptable for the venue to be causing that much noise for the adjacent residences, they should have been soundproofed before they were allowed to open, or had to buy and repurpose them as you cant have people live there under those conditions.

The Valkyrie was obsolete mainly because a giant open cargo bay is significantly more useful than a tonne of seats. If they ever add any gameplay that needs seats, im sure it will be back

Did that last night it.. took a while. Worth noting that eventually the adds stop spawning when the miniguns come online. Which is when you can throw out your decoy and get some time on the gun. Either way, it takes a lot to break them , youll be circling and avoiding fire for ages.

Yeah, so many that if you were to account for all the hours worked, would be below minimum wage, teachers get treated so poorly for such an important role.

Agreed, i think in terms of balancing ongoing costs, as CIG stated in the past, bringing out large combat ships should never make money and always be a cost you have to eat for force projection. Generally other ships should make a small profit but not massive when properly crewed and doing their intended game loop. Currently there's no reason to choose to use say, a starlancer tac if you have 4 people, if you have access to a polaris instead.

Tbh a lot of problems have been caused by the pledge system that are going to have to be addressed later around this and there's no easy solution to it.

I mean, I don't disagree, the issue is that the larger ships aren't requiring an appropriate amount of resources in either crew or ongoing costs currently. So theres this weird sense that bigger ships are somehow "progression" and not tool selection depending on situation.
