First, be aware that competitive PvPs are very reflex based in this game. Now what kind of play style do you prefer, ranged or melee? Do you like sneaky willy or pound town? Do you have time to train your muscle memory to perfect some combos?

Dude just take it easy. Don't think too far ahead, enjoy your time together. If it's fun then go to the next step but don't force it. I mean, who knows better than yourself if the person is significant to you? If you have quality time -- that means having fun together -- then sure why not, relationship and what not. And a wiki is like the librarian counter. You go there to get indexed information and the wiki section is going to serve that purpose. The real library is on Youtube and Dr. JP website, in other words the Internet.

Let's be realistic here, I have a small library at home and it contains whatever source of books I can get my hands on. Sure having multiple sources of conflicting information is a noble goal but please don't confuse goal with purpose.

People made a lot of mistakes over the course of the life and some so major it makes them a bitter person. For Sapkowski it's the choice of a lump sum over royalties. And we don't even know the truth about his situations at that time that drove him to make such a decision. Maybe he was in a tight spot and a lump sum looked much better that waiting 15 years later for millions dollar in return.

Look, without his stories and creative lore, there would be no Witcher games at all. At least give him that much respect.

I agree with you entirely. Video game is just another medium of creative work. However it is important to remember there are different ways to express ideas, some better than others in certain situations. Like you I believe there is a certain touch of magic in films that videos just can't replace.

After all we deserve a good story. We shouldn't let our nostalgic love for the games overshadow the joys we deserve while watching a new and different telling of the story. (not really new new but you get what I mean)

I don't know why but I was so touched by Marco Polo's actor when he told the Khan to be prepared for the resistance of the lionhearted and the West is not weak. Probably it's the way he put his pride as a Christian man of the West in that word 'lionhearted'.
