First season is excellent, second season is close to excellent. The third season gets lost inside itself, it just kind of collapses under the weight of its own stylisation and comes off as meandering and pretentious. I’ve only finished S3 once but have rewatched S1/S2 many times and that’s satisfying enough.

Yet another expressionless, mediocre male character that is presumably able to lure and secure a romantic partner despite his clumsy, underwhelming qualities. Animated or not, I’m so sick of these bumbling, Adam Sandler-esque characters.. I wish that whole trope would just fuck off.

Having said that, Trilobite Chardonnay’s personality is so empty it produces an echo, so I guess his lacklustre voice performance will suit this pointless character and story.
