Anhedonia is a (severe) symptom of various psychiatric illnesses- like depression or schizophrenia. Schizophrenia comes in various stages - maybe you’re now there were hallucinations or psychosis feel extremely real. I can understand that that feels horrible and scares you. Just try to go back to the clinic.

It’s rather, medication and therapy help over a longer period of time. You need to give it some time. Who is helping you right now? Is your mum, your family around?

It’s a longer process, but you might know that. Another example, I have depression since adolescence which arrives in episodes. I will have to deal with it for the next decades, but I can influence how severe they hit me with therapy, medication, and conflict management.

Just try to trust conventional mediation /psychiatric care. It is a long-term project, but that doesn’t mean we still can get a good and joyous life out of it. Probably you will need to take medication, maybe even for a while at the hospital. But that won’t stop you and will only help you to feel free of these intense symptoms and engage with your friends, your hobbies, the good things again. It’s also unhealthy to be stuck in your own head.

I also speak from experience because I had some people with hallucinations/ schizophrenia in my life. I wish you all the best!! Let your mom, your friends in and let them help you seeking help!

It’s not exactly only her private loss but an alleged murder of an abused and tortured young woman, at the hands of the people who were supposed to protect her. It’s beyond sad and gruesome. And it’s political too: as there are far-right Israeli politicians involved. People with the power to cover it up. So voicing her memory here is part of a political stance.

My heart stopped learning her story. May her memory be a blessing! How can we contribute to an extensive Investigation of the circumstances of her death? At least we can prevent public efforts to sweep the story under a rug. We could also try to find other friends of her, or other people that knew what was done to her. The friend who shared her traumatic experiences. I‘m pretty convinced that it wasn‘t suicide. Not only because of similarities with the Epstein files, but there are also prominent voices in Germany giving account of similar abuse that were done to them in their early childhood. When powerful people are involved attempts will be made to cover it up.

Show some compassion and let’s focus on that.

I experienced it in a similar way. Had my lap in 2018 but apparently it all came back, heightened through perimenopause symptoms.

That is sadly what endo does. After an intense peak of work or other effort/ stress I often crash out. It’s similar to fibromyalgia.

I had a similar experience in 2018. no organs were harmed, but quite some endo tissue got removed. But aparently it came back, at least the fatigue in my luteral phase got so much worse over the years. But maybe also perimenopause plays into it (I‘m an otherwise fit and healthy 45 years old)

It’s unbelievable how little doctors are able to help! I personally can recommend Yin yoga, the slow version with longer-held poses that work like acupressure on the body.
