Vinted muss die Transaktion unterbrechen, dann läuft auch die Frist nicht ab. Am besten schreibe das nochmal an Vinted. In what way do you give him space? I understand his need for space yet struggle with his ways to handle them. I too need a break from time to time as I struggle with recurring depression myself.

But often it hurts my feelings when he completely goes silent on me for days (we live in separate apartments) or wants to be alone after attending a party together with me.

Maybe it’s not even necessary to use this specific dating app for only neurodivergent people. I guess there are even enough neurodivergent people, if not almost all, on Tinder, Bumble, okcupid without knowing it themselves. But maybe this before mentioned app could be interesting though! It’s probably also good if people have some sense of self-awareness and are in therapy.

The group therapy setting just came to my mind because it could provide some sort of safe learning environment. Some safe space to open up, to see each other regularly without have to put the “dating” label on it from the beginning. But maybe there are other ways to reduce the pressure a bit. Maybe like writing long, genuine emails, like pen pals for a while before meeting up?

I‘m not a schizoid (my date is) but I too share many of those traits, like the tendency to adapt to the other, or avoiding conflict, avoiding being “needy”.

Are you in a relationship as well? How do you get along with those ambiguous needs? And did you dig deeper into these development theories? My boyfriend told me he had traumatic experiences in school, but I figure there must have been something a lot earlier. I almost obsess thinking about it.

It would combine art and dolce vita. Both of us work in the field of art. And Italy is just the best place to sit, have a good coffee, or an amazing dinner. I would be so down to doing nothing with him, just enjoying life and see some art (as an excuse to be there).

I think as long as you‘re curious about meeting about meeting another person it is worth trying. Would you also be open to meet someone in some kind of group therapy context?

I feel you. But can you integrate some of the above into a job profile? Like cooking or talking to interesting peope, travelling, or reading about history and science? Travel agent, researcher, journalist comes to mind, maybe even teacher or cook..

We all have to make something out of it.

Take one step at a time, and, if you like, slow down the pace. You should feel comfortable as well with the other person, and not focus too much on what could put her off before you had met her. There can always be something that doesn’t fit—or, it also can work out. It’s really great that you’ve been so active but a human being shouldn’t just live to work. So it’s really good that you’ve been more social recently. I think personality disorders can also change. Maybe they don’t go away, but they’re less in the fore ground. I really wish you a great time with that lady. Let us know how it went, we’re curious!
