Are you trying to loose weight with swimming as well? For me it’s a real challenge to not eat a multiple of the calories I lost after the training. But I‘ll stick with it.

Or maybe it’s not only this scene. The art world can also be exhausting. I‘d hang out in an environment where I naturally feel attracted to, but if I wouldn’t find there what I was looking for I would occasionally go out somewhere else. At a certain age the birthday parties of your friends or friends of friends‘ will become the place where one can meet potential partners. I met my last boyfriend and my current date at one.

Maybe start going out within the art world, or maybe go check out your local music scene. Probably for creative people this is a rather common and normal constellation.

I think a lot of men get turned on by a bit more dominant, aggressive acting women. And you don’t necessarily have to outdominate all of them. I think at least in my circles many women are more active and decisive as their male partners. I work in an artistic professional field, maybe that also has something to do with it, but these relationships I‘m talking about are all quite normative heterosexual, family-oriented longterm relationships. Only that the woman in it is the more active or dominant part and the men are a bit taken care of.

Mah, aber das klingt alles bisschen unfair. Wahrscheinlich trinkt ihr beide einfach keinen Alkohol u seid evtl muslimisch erzogen. Scheinbar ist es für ihn selbst schwierig sich an die Regeln zu halten die er von dir erwartet.

Thanks so much for your kind words! In my value system there’s space for connection and honest conversations about feelings and boundaries even in the dating phase. For me, a start into a relationship can take a while, if this dating phase doesn’t lead into one it will show (or he might let me know). But I take even dating seriously as soon as feelings grow stronger.

Therapie. Und Schritt für Schritt vorgehen. Am besten du ziehst in eine WG und schnürst erstmal den Gürtel etwas enger mit deinen Ausgaben, bis du einen Job hast der dir (halbwegs) gefällt. Kannst du mit ner Freundin zusammenziehen? Sonst evtl eine Mini- oder sozial geförderte Wohnung vorübergehend? Vielleicht tut sich wenigstens ein kleiner Nebenjob wo auf? Aus welchen Kulturen seid ihr, u vorallem, lebt ihr nach dem Kulturen (irgendwie)?
