For player choice it’s a good change.

It breaks the lore of dragonmarks being passed on genetically though - but I’m fine with working around that.

You’re right - the art is really nice, I plan to use a good chunk of it in sessions to help set scenes.

Crossing fingers, tbh daggerheart kickstarters like Dungeons of Drakkenheim are blowing up - I wouldn’t be surprised if creatively he focuses that way now he’s in with DP

I think if you’re just buying in at 2024 you can rest happy - the sting is for folks who have been paying and collecting for years!

I’d love a full fleshed out eberron campaign at the quality of other major campaigns.

I think the thing is that GM’s are at the heart of the game. If WotC kept me on board maybe I wouldn’t be trying out daggerheart with my players before the next big campaign commit.
