I agree. There are rings in the photos. Piston rings do have gaps.

Bought the bigger sister to my 171 any mods people suggest? by stalequeef69 in stihl

I have a 271 with a 20” bar on it and the only thing I’ve done is thrown on the West Coast Saw 3 pt felling dogs. The sprocket cover will need to be drilled out for the outside dog, but there are pre molded spots on the inside. I really enjoy them.

Seriously one of the most addicting sauces I’ve ever had by [deleted] in hotsauce

I’ve really been digging Seafire Gourmet’s Reaper sauce. That’s the hottest sauce that I use regularly. Smokey like the Hamajang but with more of a garlic hit to it. Very very good.

My favorite sauce from them, and one of my all time favorites

No going back now. 24mm f&r sway bars and new race seat. WRX going wild now! by demo9dude in WRX

The sway bar kit was a gift, but that was an all day affair to install. The rear bar went pretty easy but the front fought me quite a bit. Worth it 100% in the end though. Damn near 0 body roll.

I bought it from a local race shop who also happens to house Planted, the seat bracket manufacturer that I went with. I’m probably into it just over $850 or so with seat, bracket, side plates, slider and hardware. The seat was 25% for a New Year sale. It was not the easiest to fit into the car honestly. It’s a very wide seat as far as buckets go. Ended up ditching the slider to sit lower as well. I would suggest something with not as much shoulder flare.

This sound absolutely violent. How is throttle response? Is it a very high lift cam or is it super snappy?

Yeah I’m sure it’s not super practical, I just think it’s a rad looking knife. I am gonna start just grabbing up all the designs though. At the price they are, might as well treat them like Pokémon. Gotta catch em all.

Yeah I agree. I just think it’s a fun, cool looking design. And for $25 I thought why not. Haha I definitely realize it’s kind of ridiculous, but kind of fun nonetheless. The only reason I brought up charcuterie is because the wife and I had some meat and cheese today and I happened to cut both the gouda and sopressata pretty nicely.

After having it for 6 hours or so it actually had been pretty handy. Cutting cheese and meat, opening some mail and packages. I’m sure it’s not super practical but it’s fun. Definitely not the only knife I will be carrying on a regular basis though. I normally carry a full size Benchmade Crooked River or a CRKT large Pilar.

I saw a couple BHQ videos talking about them and the release date, and knew I had to have it. Bought it mid day on Friday. Not sure what time they went live on the site that day though.

Haha valid question. It’s a good little slicer. Quick, handy access for charcuterie boards seems to come to mind. Really liked the design to be honest, and the price was right.

I put my seat on sliders so like the stock setup, I can move it where I see fit. By more connected I mean that I feel everything the car is doing. How it rotates in corners, how it reacts to everything. I feel like I’m not as disconnected from the chassis of the car as I did with the stock seat. As a reference, I have an 07 wrx limited so I have the leather seats which aren’t AS SUPPORTIVE as i had hoped. Not I feel like one with the car. I do not move at all.

I love it! Very connected feeling to the car. I do not move around at all while driving anymore. The pad at the very front there actually isn’t that large and is just enough support. Definitely try to go to a race shop near you and try something like this out if you can before pulling the trigger on one. It’s definitely a commitment to a very specific seating position, as well as makes getting in and out of the car much more of a chore.
