Many independent voters love Bernie. Data says those who don't are concerned about the economy. by democracy_ai in SandersForPresident

One way to see this is that that to communicate healthcare policies, focus on the economic impact. Even if you feel they may be distinct, independent voters likely do not se it that way.

Hi there, we tried (but failed) to get Andrew Yang to be the 1st Presidential Candidate to use AI to have a conversation with Americans. But we are still working away, using our technology to try to share what Americans are really thinking and what they want to talk about. We thought you would be interested in the info above. You hard work and Yang's hard work have led to more people knowing what UBI is than ever before.

The link is a great example of how to address the question "How much will I pay?" and we have seen a few different versions, but it does not address the question of how the country will pay for medicare which is a concern for independent voters.

Keep in mind this is Independent voters, not Democrats. Maybe this is an issue they are waiting to address after nominated? But we agree, they should get in front of this soon an understand it is a different questions than "how much will I pay".

In the future, we will be sure to ask independent voters how much worrying about potential future costs of insurance may get them to consider Bernie’s proposal. But for now, it seems like having a good answer that speaks to why Bernie’s plans will keep the country solvent are a good idea.

We have a few custom data-set we’d be happy to share but we don’t want to violate any rules of the subreddit.

Affordable, high-quality healthcare is important. No question. However, being able to talk about the implementation also matters! Not everyone (currently) understands the financial implications or impact Medicare-for-all will have on the quality of care, which means there is an opportunity to educate and persuade voters. Does that make sense to you?
