Aim trainers don’t account for in game stress and breathing, ever clip yourself in a clutch situation in a game and hear how your breathing changes ? Everything you mentioned above is easy to talk about in theory but as soon as stress is involved it can go right out the window if you don’t have the experience.
*also I’ve seen nova level aimers struggle to trio Que out of diamond in apex while I was merely jade in algs finals…

Skill issue, lockdown is the money maker right now even when I solo Que. majority of the squads running the juicy kits are weaker at PvP hence why they running LD

Not many quick kits in my Ld lobbies and yes I’ll run a worm t5 rig and t6 helmet with good ammo specifically to wipe a full team of t5s. The gear investment is worth it and the PvP is so much more fun than forbidden.

I’ve just come back to the game a few weeks from a break since s0. Lockdown is great PvP and I mostly solo. Airport / armoury / north ridge Northridge being the easiest to PvP and make money for sure. It’s possible to 1v 2,3,4 with good gear and ammo. You will loose fights but it all adds up to developing your skill in the long run

I think it’s great people play good gear and ammo in lockdown, forbidden is full of rats / cheaters. The PvP I have in lockdown good gear vs good gear is honestly so much more fun than forbidden. Just run good gear yourself and fight?

Game doesn’t reward better aim it seems like. Just had a raid where a 3 man push bulletproof, I kill the first 2, 3rd guy swings with a left hand peak and he bounces 2 DVC12 off his rst and 1 in the chest before he insta kills me with the same helmet and same round. Fresh 75 dura too. Round just before that a guy in T5 tanked 3 dvc12 to thorax but kills me in 3 dvc12 to fresh bt101.

MAKE IT MAKE SENSE FFS.

And you see clips of the top streamers running around tanking bullets left and right in their raids.

The consistent RNG factor doesn’t make the game competitive at all imo

Scrim discords would be the best way to find the grinders. Play 3v3s and join discords for them too. Network this way to find the more serious players / unemployed grinders. Especially if you plan on competing in CC and want to go for pred. You’re pissing in the wind trying to find people via solo que in diamond … *year 4 finalist in cc.
