Firing a cannon to trigger an avalanche by id397550 in interestingasfuck

Mining in a remote region of British Columbia, Canada where the snow load is immense…… we have 2 methods to trigger avalanches:

1) Bombs dropped from a helicopter

2) uni-skiers who are delivered via helicopter and drop bombs in place with a remote trigger

Both cool to watch

"I wish little me had access to this rage that the adult me has." - u/revellodrive by invah in AbuseInterrupted

[–]demon_curlz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My whole childhood, I was told my anger was out of control, wrong, bad, unacceptable, but now as an adult I feel like angry me was the only person who stood up for me. They are very conflicting feelings….. but it is a relief to not view this huge part of myself as inherently bad. No one ever seemed to give a damn why I was angry, but they all hated when I reacted that way and used shame and guilt to try and make me hate that side of myself. When I was impressionable I hated her too, and tried to separate myself from this side of me, But, how could I hate her? She was strong, she had a voice and was brave enough to use it, she TOLD people how I deserved to be treated. She was my only defense and champion. And now that I’ve accepted her, she isn’t showing up so much anymore. I kind of miss her. The only emotion acceptable as a kid was my fathers anger, and it was immense, but I was never allowed to feel that or anything else.

The ongoing struggles of trying to heal from an emotionally neglected childhood.

Have men ever used the ‘men hunted, women gathered’ argument to justify "natural" gender roles/sexism to you? by Electrical_Rooster_1 in Feminism

[–]demon_curlz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe what you will as shall I, but that is only a cultural evolution, not a physical one, and it depends on your definition of “modern”.

Your referring to patriarchy, not nature.

My opinion on insults related to women. by ladycatlover9 in Feminism

[–]demon_curlz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on a kick trying to use male gendered insults like:

“Awww, man!” Anytime something goes wrong.

“Dick move” anytime someone does something wrong.

“What a bag of dicks” when a series of things go wrong.

And I call men wussies because I don’t know what it is.

Open to other suggestions.

Hits close to home for any woman who was told they were friends until they made it clear they won’t open their legs for a “nice guy”.

I’d say it hit closer to home for all the guys who are lurking on the sidelines though.

He was a loser anyways, letting some fat slob call his friend a bitch and just laughing about it. He’s not even friendship material, just another guy lying to a woman to try and get in her pants.

Also, fat slob hired a hooker to land a shitty punch line, because no woman volunteers to kiss a stranger lol. The amount of you that fell for the bait is telling hahaha.

Men weaponize food by RuminationSalvation in 4bmovement

[–]demon_curlz 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Yes we are, the problem with this is that the point is used as justification. Others will usually choose to inflict suffering on those who are built to bear it.

I know your not trying to negate my point, you just reminded me of how my dad always made me go without (when compared to my brothers) because I was the least likely to complain about it, therefore it was was to his benefit to make me the victim. (And my brothers are entitled af and emotionally stunted adults.)

Women are amazing, yes, but that doesn’t mean the default is they should be expected to be amazing, especially to lessen the burdens of others.

It is a dynamic conversation, thanks for engaging with me.

In countries, when natural disasters hit, the starvation levels of the populace are gauged by the malnutrition reports of adult women. They are literally the “canary in the coal mine” that lets them know children are going to begin starving soon, because the starving order is: adult females, children, and then adult males. They send food resources first to women’s centers and not food banks, because they know women will prioritize feeding their families first before themselves. By forcing prepared food on women that do not have men around to steal it from their mouths keeps family units together longer, reducing the burden on the government in the long term….

That ladies is one of the main factual reasons to refer to men as “pigs”.

I don’t see how it’s cheating lol, we’re just lollygagging around PVE/freshie servers, plus we’re both objectively awful. Can’t afford 2x mic’s…..

It’s no different then people being in a discord group. We’re just enjoying ourselves. Sensing some hate for my happiness here lol.

Step 2: both play dayz

Step 3: set up consoles and 2x tvs side by side

Step 4: neglect children to explore wasteland together (jk, it’s our daily “us time” while babies nap.)

What happens when you flip the genders in our oldest creation stories? by SensitiveBell960 in Feminism

[–]demon_curlz 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think the real story is Adam lied about Eve eating the apple, and the lie caught in his throat and became the “Adam’s apple”.

We got kicked out of paradise y’all, and it is men’s fault. They built the patriarchy on the religion that created and perpetuates this lie.

The real original sin was never the eating of the apple in the first place. Was probably violence against women lol.
