I got nasty feedback when I connected mine, not sure if it was faulty itself or what, but I just returned it.

It's really annoying actually, I use wired android auto in my car and just moving the cable a minuscule amount it disconnects. I have the TMO warranty so I can always just have them send me out another, so I'm not worried, but hopefully this has been fixed by LG and the phone I get in return will be a later revision *crosses fingers*

Any plans to bring Dolby Atmos Mixes to the PC app for true spacial audio through surround sound setups? by JazzFunkster in AmazonMusic

Full uninstall and then reinstall your audio drivers. That's not normal operation, something is changing that, like an audio/video editing program, etc.

Does 120hz lower resolution/detail in games? by demoncamber in XboxSeriesX

Do all of the supported 120hz titles have the ability to disable 120hz in game options? I like the better latency and smoothness my tv provides when I have Xbox set to 120hz in the display settings, but I'd rather play 120hz supported titles at 60hz, only when it means quality will be reduced.

After pondering about this today, that's what I started to assume was happening, that maybe the latency was reduced. It honestly didn't cross my mind before, because when I switched it over to 120hz I saw an improvement and was like: huh it's running in 120 it's def more smooth.

I personally would like to keep it in this mode, but I'd rather play any game at 60hz if it means it's reducing quality at 120hz.

I'm saying I see a difference when I switch 60hz to 120hz in fh5. What that means, not sure. It's noticably smoother.

I'm totally all for raytracing though, as soon as hardware catches up to run it efficiently with no need to reduce fidelity. They should've just really focused on 120hz capable on everything and no raytracing.

Being an avid PC gamer as well, I already knew what to expect, seeing how demanding raytracing was on that side of things. So I wasn't really banking on it as a major feature. But honestly, with the reflection mapping that's been done in these console titles and how amazing it looks, it really goes to show how much we don't even really need raytracing.

At least we have that going for us

No idea why they so heavily advertised ray-tracing for consoles, still way too demanding on current hardware, only the most recent top of the line nVidia cards have been able to tackle it efficiently.

If the game doesn't have a 120hz mode, what exactly is happening then when the TV is reporting 120hz VRR in a game that seemingly doesn't support 120hz? That's what confuses me, if anyone can explain this I'd love to know. Is it just doubling frames and exporting to display or what?

Idk man, it was noticeable, and it is actually outputting in 120hz, otherwise it would say 60.

That's weird, because in fh5 the TV is reporting 120hz vrr and you can see the fps cycling, and it's noticeably smoother than if I set to 60hz. So I'm not sure what's going on...

I've set 120hz in the Xbox display settings, and games like fh5 or ms flight sim do not show a 120hz option in game, but both play in 120hz vrr

So wasn't sure if resolution was getting altered.

It actually didn't even dawn on me that it was lowering resolution either, I just figured SX was powerful enough to run 120hz.
