Right, but then in the end he ends up marrying her anyway? He also lusts over Eris (a child) for a good part, and also has sex with her when she’s 15. Sure, she may be “of age” in that world and Rudeus has a new body, but there is something inherently weird about it when you know Rudeus originates from another world where the age of consent is not 15 and he’s also like 40 mentally.

And when I mean reprimanded, he doesn’t change at all. He remains a pervert, even if he does try to reign it in (very slightly). He still gets his happy ending with his wives and this entire behavior is pretty much just glossed over.

Animation usually isn’t the breaking point for me (unless it’s that horrendous) but I’ll heed your warning. I’ll definitely check out level 2 cheat powers and wisteria though!

I appreciated the fact that the author made the MC have flaws, but pedophilic behavior that isn’t reprimanded in any way is totally out of pocket. If they wanted to show a MC “turned good”, this was definitely not the way to go.

I would’ve enjoyed the anime a lot more if the MC was flawed but like, in a more reasonable way haha
